Chapter 3: I See An Ocean

Alexander

Next day was a rough and hard day. I kept bumping into people and most of them was not their day at all. Good thing that Isaac came in time and led me the way to my classes. I usually take out my phone and Isaac clicked the record button to record the classes. That's a way to take notes for me. Right now it's 5 pm. This time I have my white cane. Isaac and I are walking to the lunch room. The lunch room is not like from high schools, middle schools, or elementary lunchrooms from what I heard. It's actually kind of nice. Isaac made me wait so I sat down on a chair. As soon as Isaac came, I got more hungry because of the delicious smell.

"Okay, I bought 2 subways sandwiches, a pepsi for me, and a powerade for you," he said as I heard him place the food down on the table. I smiled and sat up. We started eating and as soon as we finished, we stood up and threw away the food. I started to turn around to start walking to my dorm, but again I bumped into someone. I suddenly felt wet on my chest and my left arm. I heard a gasp coming from a girl. I still heard everyone else doing whatever they were doing so I don't think that there is any audience. "Oh great! I am very sorry! I didn't know where I was going!" The girl exclaimed. I just tried to smile even if I am kind of annoyed of bumping into everyone right now. "It's okay. Don't worry," I calmly said.

"Here I have some napkins," the girl said. I rose my hand up to grab them, but I couldn't feel them. I moved my hand a bit higher and I finally felt it. I grabbed it, but I felt someone took my napkin away and cleaned my shirt with it. "Thanks," I heard Isaac said. I am guessing that he was the one that took my napkin away. "But couldn't he-" another voice that belonged to a girl started to say, but immediately stopped. "Oh. Okay," the girl said. Isaac led me the way outside the building. "What did I told you? I knew that you were someday going to meet the new student," Isaac said as soon as I didn't heard the lunchroom's voices. "Wait, that was her? How is she like?" I asked. I heard Isaac chuckle. "Well, she has blonde hair and light brown eyes. She also had her friend with her. Dark brown hair and dark brown eyes," Isaac said nonchalantly. I nodded.

I stood up from my bed. "I just remembered that I have to give some papers to Mr. Fitzegarld. I'll be right back," I said. I heard Isaac immediately stand up. "I could help you lead the way," Isaac quickly said. I shook my head and kindly smiled. "No, I will try to go by myself. If I don't come back in 10 minutes, you could look for me," I said reassuringly. I heard Isaac sigh. "Okay fine. I will actually put a timer that it's 10 minutes!" Isaac exclaimed. I chuckled and nodded. I made my way to the door, opened it, and as soon as I got out, I closed it.
