Alex's pov
As we sit here watching the game on the bench, the scariest thing happens. Someone runs into the field, faces me and Tobin with a hand gun pointed at us. What happened next...... I'm not sure. I black out with pain and fear.
Lauren's pov
I sit on the bench and I ran. When I heard the gunshot I started crying. I looked back and saw Alex lay on the ground and Tobin laying next to her crying.
I think he shot Alex..... Oh, my, god........ THE BABY!!!!
Tobin's pov
That guy just fucking shot my fiancé! What the fuck! She's pregnant she's got a baby. Her life was going great! I lay here sobbing my eyes out. Lauren runs up to me and hugs me and pulls me away from Alex.
"Hey now," Lauren says balling her eyes out. "Laur...... I can't...... I-I can't go on with life without her," I say falling into her arms.
Lauren sits while bringing me with her. She sits cris cross and puts my back in between and holds my head to her chest. I sob and hug her tight.
"New kids stick together. I'm here Toby," Lauren says rubbing my back and playing with my hair. "She's... She's gonna be ok," laur try's to say with confidence.
Then I see Tobin coming to so I get up and run over to her sliding into her. Emt's weren't freaking doing anything! They weren't at the field! How does that happen! I lay with her and hold her the exact same way Lauren held me because it was comforting.
"You're... You're gonna be ok Lex," I say with uncertainty. "Where'd I get hit Toby?" Alex says softly. "He uh he umm..... He shot you in the hip," I say crying. What if he got the baby. What if our first kid is dead?
