Naruto/Sasuke/Gaara x Reader: Dragon Princess

The sound and sand attack

  They just got informed that Sasuke hasn't been disqualified and that the fight was pushed 'til the end when I get to them. I smile at them sweetly. "It was about time. What kind of excuse do you have, Kakashi-sensei? I hope it's a reasonable one for once. Otherwise...well we can talk about it later. After all the fight is about to start."

Kakashi-sensei seems to be getting nervous and backing away slightly but I don't care at that moment. I see the anbu who took Hinata and Kiba with him but the two aren't here. Hopefully, Hinata's condition isn't worse than I thought...but shouldn't Kiba be back by now? Especially when the anbu is? Something's wrong but there isn't anything I can do for now. Besides, I sent Cara to them so they should be fine. She would have told me already if that wasn't the case. Turning my attention back I hear the examiner say. "Gaara, get down here."

I watch Shikamaru and Naruto go back up before my eyes turn to look at Gaara and they widen slightly in surprise. He looks like he is mad...maybe even bloodthirsty and his siblings seem to be frightened. I grit my teeth at this. 'That's not good. We have to defeat him as fast as possible.'

Gaara turns around to go down to the battle area. Once he is there we face each other standing in a triangle. The examiner Genma then says. "Now finally....BEGIN!!!" With that said he disappears quickly.

Gaara's sand immediately gets out of his gourd, Sasuke jumps back and I observe them quietly. Suddenly Gaara puts his head in one hand muttering. "Don't...get so angry...mother. I fed you some nasty blood earlier...I'm sorry....but this time...it will be delicious."

Not liking this one bit I growl. Sasuke throws some shuriken which are blocked by the sand shield. It then forms into a sand clone but Sasuke manages to destroy it and he tries to attack Gaara from the front. The sand once again shields Gaara and Sasuke quickly gets behind him. He punches him successfully sending him flying a bit. They continue their fight a bit longer completely ignoring me making a tick mark appear on my head. Finally having enough I activate my Dragan and say angrily. "Hey you idiots! I'm here too if you haven't noticed yet and I definitely DON'T LIKE BEING IGNORED!!!"

Using their hesitance I grab a kunai to cut myself and create a blood clone to keep Sasuke busy while I target Gaara. They are both sent flying to the walls. That's what you get for leaving me out!


~~Meanwhile and Kiki's POV~~


I giggle quietly at my little girl's outburst while Sheena facepalms. That's just like her. Hearing someone chuckle behind me I smile. "I was wondering if you would be here on time Lion."

The Tsuki-anbu bows slightly. "Of course I would. Nothing could have stopped me to see this fight."

Sheena nods at him recognizing him from her training with (y/n). She only knows that he is the one I tasked with keeping an eye on her but she doesn't know why. I am also the only one -besides him of course- who knows who he is. Still watching the fight I say to him mentally. "Hopefully, it's soon time to tell her the truth. Don't let her wait too long."

I know he is still only watching her debating with himself. I'm surprised by his answer however. "After the exams."

Still shocked I nod and hope that everything will turn out fine.


~~Back to the fight and (Y/n)'s POV~~


Gaara recovers quickly and his sand forms something like a cocoon around him. Smirking I thank Levia mentally before quickly using a scroll I took with me and the hand signs for the jutsu she taught me. "Water Style: Dance of the Raging Waves!"

From the scroll appears a small container filled with water. The water immediately flies around me and I start moving making the water attack the cocoon in wave-like motions. Normally it's used to slash down multiple enemies at once but well. Hearing a strange sound I look at Sasuke and my clone. My eyes widen at the jutsu he is using. 'What the hell is that? I have never seen anything like this before!'

Using the opportunity Sasuke rushes past my clone and straight into the not weakened side of the cocoon. Then I just hear Gaara shouting something about his blood. Is this maybe the first time he ever got wounded physically? Anyways, it's an impressive technique and he destroyed the absolute defense on his own. Maybe I was a bit too worried but it's not over yet. Once Sasuke manages to get his hand out of the cocoon a strange arm-like thing comes out of the hole. Gritting my teeth in realization I quickly awake Sera and her silver chakra surrounds me and forms two tails, my fangs get bigger and my pupils turn into slits. Just then the cocoon dissolves and Gaara appears holding his left shoulder. Suddenly I sense someone using a Gen-Jutsu and nearly the whole audience falls asleep. Immediately I turn towards Lady Kiki but all I see there is smoke. The anbu of Konoha get in action but Orochimaru still disguised as the Kazekage jumps out of the smoke with the Hokage as his hostage. The anbu follows them and I hear a voice which makes me sigh in relief. "Ninjas of Tsuki, help our ally with all you have! We can't let them do as they please!"

Lady Kiki jumps out of the smoke together with Sheena and they follow them too. Every ninja of Tsuki gets to where they are the most useful. I quickly summon all dragons and ask them for help. They nod in unison and disappear from the battle area. Kankuro, Temari and their sensei get down to Gaara and the siblings retreat while their sensei stays and is face to face with Genma. Sasuke follows the siblings and I'm about to follow too but Sera stops me. 'You shouldn't follow them.'

Slightly agitated I ask her. 'And why? I promised to take care of Gaara and Sasuke is one of my friends and I refuse to..!'

She interrupts me. 'I know, keep calm and think about it. Do you think it helps anybody when you follow them and keep any possible damage from Sasuke? We both know that your top priority would be to keep Sasuke safe.' I can't say anything against it because she is right. 'You understand now? Listen, there is one thing we both can do to help them.'

Confused I ask. 'What do you mean with them?'

Sera chuckles a bit. 'Oh, Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru and Shino are following Sasuke. Anyways before you get mad because I haven't told you that earlier, my plan is pretty simple. Let me take over for some time and I will be able to weaken Shukaku and maybe make Kurama stronger but I need a quiet place where I have time to concentrate only on this. First of you have to find such a place.'

Sighing I agree. 'Alright, let's do this.'

Looking around I remember that Cara is still here and quickly go searching for her. I defeat every enemy ninja who gets in my way. Right before I can round a corner I am pulled into a room. Turning around to strike at them I notice that it is only an anbu from Tsuki-Gakure and I think I saw him with Kiki during the fight against Gaara and Sasuke. Before I have time to ask him what he wants he already answers my question. "You are looking for a quiet place for Sera to do something about the one-tailed beast, right? If that's the case then you should stay here. I won't let anyone get past me and disturb you."

Hesitantly, I nod at him. I don't know why but something about him makes me feel safe. Disregarding the thought for now I quickly sit down in a corner deactivating my Dragan and the two tails. I close my eyes and Sera takes over which makes me black out for the time being hoping it will work.
