New Girl (Luke Hemmings fanfic)

Chapter 2

It turns out making friends was way easier than I thought I would be. Me and Anastasia are now walking to her group of friends, which I'm guessing is the group on the side of the field since Luke is there. It's quite a big group of people, I hope they are all so welcoming as Anastasia and Luke.

When we got there they all stopped talking and looked at me, is it to late to run? Probably, so I just stand there while she introduces me.

"Hey guys this is Skyler and she is now part of this group so introduce yourselves" Anastasia says and they begin to laugh. "I hope you can keep up with our weirdness" a guy with a very nice fringe said. "I think I will be able to handle it, uhm what's your name?" I replied. "Oh yeah sorry, I'm Michael."

"My name is Calum and before you ask no I'm not Asian I'm kiwi" the skinny guy with black hair said with a smile. Thank Pete he said that because I was just about to ask him that. "Nice to meet you" I said laughing.

"Hi Skyler, I'm Vanessa and this is Allison" the brunette girl said and pointed to the other girl with dirty blond hair. "Please call me Skye, The only person who still calls me Skyler is my granddad"

The day finally came to an end and it was time to go home. It wasn't so bad as what I thought it would be and six new friends!? This is awesome!

"How was your day at school, sweetie?" my mom asks me on the way home.

"I survived and made new friends!" I replied excitedly. "I'm glad to hear that, I was a little worried that you were not going to like it here" "I'm still trying to find my place but it's not as horrifying as what I imagined and it helped that they made me feel welcome" I said not even mentioning the drama queen from the first class.

At home I went straight to the kitchen. I'm starving! While I was making my delicious ham and cheese sandwich my phone notified me that I have a new text message.

From: Anastasia

Hey we are all going to hang out at Luke's house, wanna join us?

Oh my gosh they actually thought about me to, I feel loved! Oh wait I still have to reply her

To: Anastasia

Hi yeah I'll come, just send me the time and address. See you later

*Later*

I can't believe this! They guys are in a band.

They have a drummer that I just met, since he's not in our school. He's name is Ashton and I can tell he's a very happy person. Laughs ALOT!

Wow they are really good and Luke's voice is just amazing, who knew someone can sound so heavenly when they sing?

"Do you have a name for the band yet or are you still looking for one?" I asked them when they were finished. "We decided to call ourselves 5 seconds of summer" Michael said.

"That's a cool name, original"

"Our name is very punk rock, just like us" Calum interjected. "Whatever makes you sleep at night" Vanessa teased and believe it or not all the boys pouted.

They pouted!

Aww they kinda look like little cute puppies but still, punk rock my ass. I must say Luke has perfected that look, if this were a competition he'd win hands down. I wonder what it would feel like to kiss him right now? WAIT WHAT!? I did not just think that. No, No, No, No, No!! He has a girlfriend and she happens to be my friend. Why did I even thought about it!?

I'm probably just tired and now my brain is letting me think all kinds of insane stuff. I think I should rather leave before I think of more crazy stuff, like trading my iPhone in for a Nokia because of the longer battery life or something.

Nope I'll just go home, it's safer.
