Sierra's POV

Once both her and Ramin were in the hall, he noticed the strange face on Ramin,

"Something wrong?" She asked as she touched his shoulder.

"Is it okay if I go to Hadley's house after school? He offered to take me." He begged.

"I'm not your mom! But I'll sound like one. You made a friend already! I'm so happy for you!" She smiled as she hugged him.

She and him laughed as they walked into French together. They sat next to each other as the bell had rang.

"Bonjour classe! Vous savez tous que je suis Mlle Smith." She said as her eyes fixed on Ramin, "Oh! Il semble que nous avons un nouvel étudiant! S'il vous plaît se lever et de vous présenter."

Sierra looked as Ramin stood up, "Bonjour Mlle Smith. Mon nom est Ramin Karimloo. C'est un plaisir de vous rencontrer. Je regarde avant-propos d'en apprendre davantage au sujet de la lanuage et de la culture française que je rentre cette classe."

Mlle Smith looked very shocked but also very happy. Obviously, Ramin knew more French than anyone in the class.

Without any orders from the teacher, the entire class was filled with applause. As Sierra was clapping, she looked around the room. Every girl was staring at him. Just like in choir!

Sierra felt a weird pain in her stomach. She's never felt it before. It was a bad case of jealousy. Ramin sat down and class started.

At the beginning, most of the time was to get Ramin set up for the class. Most of the girls volunteered to help him.

Sierra sat there as she thought for a moment. She actually liked Ramin. But didn't he tell her sometime that last week that he had just gotten over a break up?

She also had a boyfriend. She certainly couldn't do this to Ramin. But she didn't like Tam. She still has to get used to Ramin and get to know him better.

But she had to do that fast.

Before it's too late.

Sierra continued to watch the girls giggling and showing him what to do. She decided to get up as well and help. She had to get him his folders and his actual supplies while all of the girls were drooling on him and his desk.

She felt bad for him. He had told her that he was a bit claustrophobic at times. I mean, she wanted to be a good friend to him and help.

She stormed over to his desk and slammed her foot on the ground, "Get away from his desk! I doubt you would want that yourself it was your first day to a new school!" She yelled as the room turned into silence. Like someone was murdered in front of them and the body started to fall and Sierra was the murderer.

The girls slowly stepped away from his desk and Sierra placed his supplies on her desk and sat back down in her own chair. Ramin looked over at her and gave her a warm smile.

What was this though? She freaked out after girls were around him. Was it jealousy? Of course not. She was being a nice friend and made sure no one would make him feel weird and awkward on his first day.

Ramin's POV

Ramin knew French. There were some phrases he tripped up at, but he knew it. He didn't understand why he had to take the class, but he was glad he was with Sierra.

After he introduced himself and sat down, the teacher had asked for volunteers to help him get his stuff for class. Ramin sighed as every girl except Sierra started to help him. She just sat there and watched.

Eventually, Sierra started to get up. She probably noticed that no one was actually helping him, but only asking him weird questions like: "Are you single?" And "How much do you work out?" Questions like that.

Ramin sat quietly, trying to dodge these strange questions. When Sierra came back, she yelled, "Get away from his desk! I doubt you would want that yourself it was your first day to a new school!" The room was dead silent. Honestly, Ramin was shocked as well. He had never heard her yell.

Once the awkwardness was over, one of the girls smirked and went over to Sierra, "Someone jealous?" She laughed and went back over to Ramin and pecked his cheek.

He knew he had blushed a deep red. He sank down in his chair slowly until the same girl pulled him up, "You aren't going anywhere." She whispered seductively in his ear. Ramin had never felt so uncomfortable in his life.

Mademoiselle Smith took this time to stand up and walk over to the scene, "Mademoiselle Boggess is correct. He probably feels very scared and this is not how students must greet others." All of the girls quickly walked to their seats along with Miss Smith and the room remained a silent film until the bell had rang.

Once Ramin and Sierra were out of the class, they were walking side by side.

It was quiet for a while until Ramin decided to speak up, "Thank you for uhh.. Saving my back there. I didn't like that at all."

She smiled warmly at him, "Of course. That's what friends are for!" She replied.

That's right.

Friends.

Just friends.

That's what they are.

And always will be..

Friends.
