Jessie POV
It was four weeks since the surgery, and me and dan haven't seen a lot of each other. He's been over in Ireland for the past two weeks and I've been in Essex. We've both been staying at our parents homes and had family meals etc.
I felt before we left, there was a lot of tension for some reason between us. I hope it didn't mean anything. I was now 4 months pregnant, Holly 6. Glen was in Ireland too, leaving me and Holly with many nights when we've cried ourselves to sleep on the sofa.
We were now sat on the sofa, talking
Holly: How could they do this to us?
Jess: Holly, they haven't seen there families in ages, I'm sure they're just catching up with them
Holly: Yeah well he hasn't even skyped me or anything
Jess: Same...oh Holly-
We both burst out crying. I miss Dan so much and I don't know why he just left.
As if on que, I hear my phone calling, it's Dan. I put it on speaker so Holly can hear...
(Phone call)
J - Hello?
D - Hey!
J - Dan! Are you okay!
D - Um yeah, well no, not really
J - Why?
D - My sisters just been in labour and is in a coma
J - Andi?
D - Yeah
J - Aw I'm sorry babes
D - It's fine, how are you?
J - Missing you, when will you and Glen be back?
D - I'll be back tomorrow, and Glen said he's staying another two weeks. He won't say why, I'll go see him in the morning
H - What's up with him?
D - Oh hi Holly! And I don't know. We just came to see family, me and Mark were coming for that but when we got here, Glen just kind of went off
H - Oh great!
D - Don't worry, I'll call him after this phone call and let you know
H - Okay thanks Dan!
D - No problem! As for you miss Cornish
J - I can't wait to see my fiancé tomorrow
D - And i can't wait to see my fiancé and baby tomorrow either!
J - Well I'll see you then handsome!
D - See you then beautiful!
(End of phone call)
Holly: Ughh where's Glen!
Jess: He'll be fine, don't worry
Holly: I'm worried
My phone rings again, it's Danny again...
(Phone call)
J - Hey Dan!
D - Hey, I'm with Glen now
H - Is he okay?
G - I'm fine, coming home tomorrow Holly
H - Oh thank god! I'm off to bed, night love
G - Same, night babes
J - Dan can we skype?
D - Yeah I'll call once I'm in my room. Bye babes
J - Byee
(End of call)
Within seconds, my Skype notification pops up and it's Dan, I click on answer. I'm in my PJ's on my bed and Dans in his PJ's on his bed...
(Skype call)
D - Hey babes! I've missed that face!
J - I've missed yours more!
D - Has our baby grown?
J - Wait a sec
I stand up, sideways to the camera, revealing my bump to Dan
D - Yep, I see a difference
J - We are both missing you so much daddy!
D - I'm missing my girl and son/daughter so much too!
Mark walks in and interrupts the skype call.
M - Dan were not going back tomorrow seeing as Glen has just been severely ill
D - Oh right
J - Dan you stay I'll be fi-
D - Isn't the scan tomorrow morning?
J - Yeah, don't worry, Holly can come with me
D - You sure babes?
J - Sure
D - aww. I gotta go check on Glen, Skype me as soon as you get home to tell me the news, okay?
J - Okay daddy, byee
D - Byee!
