"How fast can you get here?"

Sarah's POV

"Since I am such a nice person," the man said. "I'll let you say goodbye."

He pulls my phone from his back pocket and I furrow my eyebrows at him.

If he was holding me captive and didn't want anyone to find me, why would he let me call Reid?

I nodded, holding my hand out for the phone.

"I'm trusting you." He said as I dialed Reid's number.

We had the conversation and I added something in that should help them.

"I love you guys so much," I said, the tears getting the best of me. "I know you'll do the right thing. And Emily, I'll miss you. And Spence, I love you..so much."

He snatched the phone, hanging it up.

I brushed my hand through my hair, wiping my tears. "Why are you doing this?"

"I told you," he said, sitting on the bed beside me. "Because I love you."

"What's your name?" I asked, laying back on the bed.

The only thing I could do now, was wait. And play along with his fantasy.

"You don't know me?" he laughed softly. "I'm Julian."

"Julian?" I asked, searching my brain. "From the profiling class?"

"Yeah, you remember me?" He grins.

"I remember everything."

"Right," he says before smiling again. "I'm gonna clean this up and maybe we can do something together."

I nod as he turns, picking up the stuff from the floor. Julian from the profiling class. I remember him, he was the one talking about how killing isn't just killing, it has a deeper meaning and that killers aren't crazy.

Of course, this raised red flags for me. I watched him every class, using my newly found profiling skills to profile him.

I profiled him as a confused guy who had killing fantasies but never had actually played them out. That's when he started staring at me. Every class, he'd look from his notebook to me at least 46 times each class.

He completely slipped my mind. This class was 4 years ago.

All I could do now was pretend. And pray to god that Reid was coming for me.

Reid's POV

"Sarah and Emily have been trading email for the past 6 months." Garcia says.

"Well?" Hotch says. "What do they say?"

"This doesn't feel right, I don't wanna go through her personal stuff, it makes me feel icky."

"Garcia." Hotch says.

"Yes, sir."

She stays silent for a second before speaking. "It looks like Sarah had a stalker, and she confided in Emily."

"'I'm scared that he's going to kill me, take me from Spence,'" Garcia says, her eyes watering. "'I'm fearing for my life, Em.'"

"So, she was terrified of this guy," Morgan says. "She obviously doesn't know him, she would have said his name or any identifying features on the phone."

"If he's getting close enough to scare her, then she most likely doesn't notice him, so he had an average demeanor and or built." Blake says.

"Maybe she does know him," I said, standing up. "He only watched her for 6 months, stalkers typically watch their item of affection for up to 5 years but he moved in a lot earlier than most average stalkers. Maybe she met him a while back and while he fell in love with her, she didn't even notice him."
