Mountains

He know their love is worth the climb,
But she's afraid of heights,
And her crooked smile is as perfect,
As the holes ripped in her tights,
Every time they're at the sea,
The ocean starts to weep,
Wishing they were half as wide,
As his live for her is deep,
He tries to tell her every day,
That the words he speaks are true,
But her heart just isn't strong enough,
To say, "I love you too",
So when he claimed the mountains peak,
He found himself alone,
And that the view is lovely from the top,
But it's worthless on your own.
