Paulina's P.O.V
The smell of fresh blueberry pancakes made it's way to my nose, pulling me out of sleep. I noticed I was the only one still in the living room. I guess everyone woke up and didn't wake me up?
I made my way to the kitchen hearing music and laughter. Harry was at the stove flipping pancakes; he always was the cook. Everyone else was at the table waiting patiently for their food when they saw me walk in.
"Hey sleeping beauty!" Yesenia said getting up to bring me a chair to sit down. "I was going to wake you, but you seemed so tired that I decided on letting you sleep."
"Thanks, I was tired." I sat down at the table picking at my finger nails. "So are we doing anything special today?" I wanted to know if they had any plans because I certainly didn't.
Everyone looked at themselves nervously. The flipping of Harry's pancakes was all that could be heard. Bryanna finally broke the silence by speaking up.
"We have something to tell you Paul." Bryanna confessed. I don't know why her and Yesenia started calling me that. It's not like it's an attractive nickname, but I let it slide because I love them.
"What is it?" It can't be that bad, there's not much worse that can happen to me.
"Well first we're all going out to dinner today." Harry then came in setting two pancakes for each of us, before he sat next to Yesenia. "Okay? What's so bad about us going to dinner that you're nervous about telling me?" I don't understand why she's so nervous.
"We're setting you up with someone!" Harry shouted not being able to keep it in any longer.
"What?!" I shot back. What the fuck? They're setting me up with someone? It hasn't even been a week since Sebastian cheated on me and they're suggesting I go on a blind date?
"Paulina it could be good for you! He's amazing and he's one of my best mates! Harry pleaded. "Harry you barely fucking know me! You might be dating my best friend but that doesn't mean I have to listen to you! I couldn't see anything but red, I'm so fucking pissed.
"Paulina stop being such a bitch! You're going on the date end of discussion, you'll thank us later! Yesenia said looking directly in my eyes. She always was the strong one.
I got up from my chair and made my way to the living room to get my things. They can't make me go on a date I don't want to go to. "The hell I am." I muttered to myself picking up my bag.
I walked out slamming the door, when I was half way down the driveway I heard the door swing open behind me. Not caring who it was I didn't turn around.
"Paulina!" Niall shouted to get my attention. I turned around just because it was him. He walked down the driveway with his hands in his pockets. "Paulina, I know you're mad but-
"Mad?! Are you fucking kidding me Niall? They can't make me go somewhere I don't want to go!" I sighed in anger and frustration. I'm not ready to start "dating" again.
"Paulina it's one night okay, Haz says he's a really good guy. Just give him a chance for me?" He put on his famous puppy dog face that always makes me cave. That asshole.
"Fine! What time are we going?" I can't believe I'm actually agreeing to this. "Idk I'll text you with the details later, and stop being such a grump!" He laughed walking back into the house.
I drove back to my house not being able to comprehend that I'm going on a date tonight? What if he's a complete jerk? I won't be able to handle that, I don't think I'm ready for this. My feet carried me to the bathroom to take a hot shower. I stripped off my clothes and stepped in. The hot water helped my stress a little. I got out wrapping a towel around my body, when I heard my phone buzz on the counter. It was a text message from Niall.
"Be at Yesenia's at 6:30, wear something sexy! (:" I laughed so hard I dropped my phone.
"I was thinking of wearing a sombrero, do you think they'll allow that at the restaurant?" I'm sure he'll love my sarcasm. I went to my closet to decide what I should wear to this "date".
I seriously have no idea what to wear, before I knew it I was calling Yesenia.
"Hey! i'm sorry I yelled at you..." she trailed off on the phone.
"It's fine really, hey so like i'm at my closet and I have no idea what to wear for tonight." I'm so nervous, I wish I knew who I was going on a date with.
"Oh my god why didn't you say that in the first place! Me and Bryanna will be right there." She hung up without saying goodbye.
Yesenia and Bryanna walked in my house five minutes later. I was still in a towel but who cares. "Honey we're home!" Yesenia said in her usual voice imitating the line once again. "I can't believe you assholes are making me go on a blind date!" I shot back.
"You'll be fine babe, now let's see what you should wear." Yesenia went through my closet throwing possible outifts on my bed."Okay so we have to go with something sexy but simple. It will give the impression that you don't try to be sexy because you already are!" she wen't on and on. She finally decided on a black strapless dress and flats. "Okay now what are you going to do to your hair?" she asked me.
" I was thinking of just straighting it?" I think my hair straight with my black dress will look good. "Perfect! Okay we're going to go back to my house to get ready! He'll be there at 6:30, so be there by then."
"Do you guys think you could tell me something about him? Like what's his name for instance? I asked. I went to my bathroom to plug my straightner in. "No! It's a suprise, see you at 6:30." She yelled before slamming my front door.
It took me about an hour to straighten my curls. I mentally scolded my mother for her curly hair passing it down to me. I'd much rather have natural straight hair. I put on light eyeliner and some blush. I grabbed my purse and phone looking at the time. "Shit" I mumbled to myself. Its 6:20, I'm gonna be late. I ran to my car starting the engine and pulling out of my driveway.

I arrived at Yesenia's at 6:26, with four minutes to spare. I walked into her house not knocking. "Anyone here?" I yelled throughout the house. I heard heels coming down the stairs.
"What the fuck Paulina they're going to be here soon!" Yesenia was wearing a red dress that went down a little pass her knees. It had a floral pattern on it and adorned her body perfectly. Bryanna followed her down the stairs. She was wearing a beautiful blue dress with a black cardigan.They both looked perfect.
"You guys look so beautiful! I complimented them.
"Sorry we're taken." Bryanna smirked. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the couch waiting. I'm so nervous it's not even funny. I hope this doesn't go bad, I can't take any more stress. The doorbell rang shortly after I sat down.
"They're here! Yesenia shouted running to the door. I rolled my eyes getting up from the couch. Harry and Niall were wearing dress suits and looked dashing. "You look beautiful Yesenia" Harry said kissing her.
"Will you two get a room?" Niall said with a disgusted look on his face. "Don't be a hypocrite Niall, I saw you and Bryanna the other day eating each other's faces!" Harry shot back laughing. Niall's cheecks turned red. They both walked in and sat down. I couldn't help but think where's the mystery man? As if Harry could read my thoughts "He's running a little late but he should be here in a couple minutes."
The door bell rang once again, causing me to get up. "I'll get it" I said. I could hear them talking about me when I got up but I ignored them because I was so nervous. I took a deep breath and opened the door.
It seemed like my jaw dropped all the way to the floor. He was undeniably sexy. He had blue eyes and his hair was pushed back. He was wearing slacks with a buttoned down white shirt with his sleeves pulled up, showing off his tattoos. I've never found tattoos more sexy. "Uh hi." I stuttered.
"Hey! You must be Paulina?" His british accent coming out strong. No wonder him and Harry are friend's.
Uh yeah, hi, what's your name?" I asked curiously."
"Louis, Louis Tomlinson." He handed me roses, how the hell did he know roses were my favorite. "How did you know roses were my favorite?" I laughed.
"Lucky guess?" He smirked. God he was too sexy. "Well thank you so much" I couldn't help but smile.
"Don't worry about it love." Harry came behind me and hugged Louis. "Hey Lou glad you made it! Come in" He said leading Louis to the living room.
We were all standing in the living room awkwardly when Louis broke the silence. " So where are we going tonight?"
"Well, I was thinking we could go to Olive Garden? That's Paulina's favorite restaurant." Yesenia said looking at me proud that she knew so much about me.
" I absolutely love Olive Garden!" Louis said exitedly. Can he be any more perfect? No stop it Paulina you just met the man.
"Okay so me and Harry will go in one car, Bryanna and Niall in another, and Louis and Paulina in another." She grabbed Harry's hand pulling him out the door followed by Niall and Bryanna before I could protest.
"After you?" Louis said genuinely. "Sure i'll meet you out there just let me put these roses in a vase with water before they die and I cry." He nodded while chuckling and walking out the door.
I walked to the kitchen filling up the vase with water. I Just realized that I hadn't thought about Sebastian for almost an hour which is a new record. I can't really figure out Louis, He seem's perfect but too perfect. Nothing is that perfect, he has to have some flaw. I couldn't help but think about how beautiful his eyes are. Hopefully this night goes well.
I grab my purse walking out of my house not knowing what's gonna happen tonight.
