Writers Block.... Oh how wonderful it is... Those nights you have so much running through your mind you just have to get it out. You fight the urge to stay up all night & write until its all out of you. You fight the urge to pour out your heart & your soul onto that paper because you're not sure how much you have left. You fight the urge to stay up all night writing because you know you need the rest. You fight the urge to let the light shine from within you, or let the dark hours consume you. All these words, the feelings, these creative urges overwhelm you until you truly can't take it anymore & you break. That dim light is terrible for your eyes but you don't care. You try to say as quiet as you possibly can so you don't disturb the ones close to you.  You pour your heart out in the a.m hours & for what? For no one to ever read it because you keep your workings locked away because you're scared if anyone ever saw that side of you, they would never look at you the same. You think about releasing your words to the public because maybe you can touch someone, but you know no one will ever be able to understand it truly, as you can. Your work is like part of your soul. It is a piece of you that no one is ever going to truly get to know. It is your dreams, your wishes, your life, your light, your darkness, your being. It is this whole world, everything that was ever created, from your very own perspective. But, you still ask yourself, "Who really cares about that?"
