Lydia's POV
OMG! I couldn't believe it! He proposed! We already planned the date, too: October 14, 2015.
I'm not sure that I can wait a year! To celebrate, Ian and Cally took us out to dinner. The restaurant wasn't fancy, but I was too happy to care.
"So, when's the wedding?" Ian asked.
"October 14, next year." I replied. Ian and Cally exchanged nervous glances.""What? Is something wrong?"
Yes, actually." He sighed. "Last night, Cally got a call from her biological parents. They explained why they had to give her up and they want to see her. We were going to stay with them for a week so I could meet her parents since we probably won't again." I nodded my head. I understood how much Cally had wanted to meet her parents. Anthony on the other hand....
"Ian, you're supposed to be there for me!"
"Ant, calm down! I am there for you!" People stopped talking and looked our way. I looked over at Cally, who'd seen one too many fights. Her and Jason used to fight so ferociously, that neighbors would call to complain and both had scratches and bruises after a debate. I put my hand on Anthony's shoulder.
"Babe, it's okay. We'll just change the date to November, okay?" He didn't pay me a bit of attention. He and Ian were too busy yelling and screaming at each other.
"GUYS!" I screamed. They stopped fighting and looked at me. "Anthony, well just move the date to November 14, so Cally and Ian can go see her parents. That okay, babe?" I asked. He nodded and sat down. Cally was still shaken up. Nowadays, she got scared so easily...
Cally's POV
Oh god...I feel horrible for making them change the date of their wedding. As bad as I felt, I still felt like I should pay for the food. I paid and drove Anthony and Lydia off at their house. After they went inside, Ian smiled at me and said, "I have a surprise for you at home." He was wearing a mischievous smile, which usually ment that he had something big planned....
