Maddie's POV
"Bawal kayo sa hard liqour ha? You will drive us back to the dorm pa." Ate Ly joked which she gained laugh from all of the team.
Nandito na kami ngayon sa Rexofiels, at nags-start ng magparty ang buong team maliban sa akin. Ate Ly and ate Den where dancing at the dance floor together with my other team mates.
I sipped on my pineapple juice and looked back to my team mates.
I can see the happiness on their face. I wish I could also be happy like them. Parang mga wala silang problema unlike me na halos isumpa na ang buong buhay ko because of the pain I am feeling right now.
I was snapped out from my bubble because my phone beeped. I read the message from my viber. It's from kupal-- I mean Intal.
Kups Intal:
Alam mo dapat nakangiti ka ngayon! Didn't you know na isang poging nilalang na nagngangalang Rex Intal ang may-ari ng couch at ng buong bar kung nasaan ka ngayon?
I was nearly out of breathe dahil sa pagpipigil ng tawa.
To Kups Intal:
You're so high, don't me kupal. 😝
From Kups Intal:
Okay then. Sige na. Still busy with my paper works. Smile ka na poste. 👽
I smiled before keeping my phone. Thanks to Kupal at least ngayon I have a small reason to smile even though I was hurt.
"Hey." Sh*t. Yung kaninang smile ko, nawala na naman. She sat besides me, She was like 3 inches away from me. At eto na naman yung tanga kong puso, nagma-malfunction na naman. Unti-unting bumibigat ang paghinga ko. The effect of Bea De Leon.
"You okay?" Naga-alalang tanong niya. HINDI BEA! HINDI!
"Yeah, I'm okay." Good thing hindi ako nag-stutter. She smiled, those smile that can make my heart melt.
"I wanna kiss you."
My chinita eyes got widened. Sinabi niya bang gusto niya kong halikan?. Damn Bea! Wag mo kong paasahin.
"Kianna, remember?" I smiled. Parang nadurog naman ang puso ko when I saw pain crossed over on her eyes. Bakit? Para saan?
Nagulat ako ng hilahin niya ko palabas ng bar. Ano na naman to?
"Saan mo ba ako dadlhin?" I asked only to find out na she brought me to her car. Pinaupo niya ko sa shot gun seat at nagmadali naman siyang umupo sa driver's seat.
"We will talk." Seryosong sagot niya.
But after that, Long silence took over on our atmosphere.
It became an awkward silence so I decided to broke it na. "Ano bang pag-uusapan natin? May dapat ba tayong pag-usapan?" Pagmamatapang na tanong ko but deep inside me, I just wanna get out from this situation. She held my hand. I looked at her eyes and there I saw the most strange gloom in her eyes. Sadness?
Gustong-gusto ko siyang halikan o yakapin man lang pero yung lakas ng loob ko hanggang pagkausap lang talaga sa kaniya.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Nagulat ako ng sabihin niya ang mga salitang yon. Bakit ano bang ginagawa ko? She was the one who brought me here.
I bow down my head and got back my hands from her. Wale eh, ramdam na ramdam kong gustong kumawala ng mga luha sa mata ko pero ayokong umiyak sa harap niya.
"Sabi ko, Lalayuan kita. Magmo-move on ako." She chuckles. "But damn it, Yrenea. Every time na nakikita kita, I just wanna go back from the old us!"
