Hailey Anderson
"Good morning my princess" I saw my parents as I opened my eyes. I smiled
"Hey mom dad"
"How are you feeling?" Mom asked
"A little better I guess"
"You blood sugar is really low Hailey. The doctor asked what food do you eat these days?" Dad said and I looked at him disbelief. Low Blood Sugar? What?
"How do you know about me being here?"
"Luke , he called us and we're really panic. We rushed to the hospital right away and good thing that he's by your side all the time" Mom smiled and I can't help but flutter
"Where is he?"
"We force him to go eat something and take a bath. He didn't want that at first because he wants to wait for you to wake up" Mom said
"I never thought that he's a type of guy like that" My dad said and I chuckled
"I told you I will get him one day"
"Just like your mom.. ambitious" He chuckled and my mom smacked him playfully. Suddenly the door opened and I saw Luke walked in with 3 cups of coffees on his hand. His eyes widen as he saw me waking up
"Hey" He walked to me and sit beside the bed. Holding my hand and kissed it
"How are you feeling?" He asked
"Better.. maybe"
"You have a really low blood sugar.. what did you eat these days? Salt?" He asked and I laughed. He looked at me disbelief
"I'm serious Hailey" He said seriously and I pouted
"I ate plain bread"
"For how many days? Don't tell me for 2 weeks?" He raised his eyebrows and I chuckled
"1 week straight" I answered honestly. He sighed and suddenly he turned to my parents.
"Mr. and Mrs. Anderson , I would like to ask your permission for her to move in with me" My eyes widen as he said that. I smacked his hand and he turned to me
"Luke!" I glared at him
"I'll take care of her really well sir. He's a clumsy girl and I hate leaving her alone on that apartment without anyone watching for her" Luke continue ignoring me
"Luke.. my parents is not going to-"
"She can" What?!
"Dad!" I protested and Luke smirked to me
"What?" My dad asked teasing
"Are you hungry?" Luke asked , suddenly the door opens and revealing Michael. My eyes widen and smiled. Luke looked at him and I know he's trying to hide his annoy expression
"Heyy big baby" Michael cheered and show me a big plastic of my favorite restaurant. I clapped and he chuckled
"Hello Blake and Lorraine" He greeted my parents
"Hello Mike" My mom smiled
"Hey bud , long time no see" My dad hugged him. After that he walked to me , he just smiled to Luke. Luke awkwardly look at him and turn to me. I hold Luke's hand and he gave me a sweet smile
"Have you eat?" Michael asked
"I just woke up" I said and Luke helped me to adjust my bed. Helping to get up in a sitting position. Michael take out the table and put the food in front of me.
"Just wake up?" He pinched my nose and ruffled my hair , I chuckled
"I'm sick you bastard" I glared and he laughed. I turned to Luke who is awkwardly look at us. I hold his hand tighter , I mean I hold his hand all the time. He looked at me and I know he hates Michael being so affectionist to me but that's what he is. He always do that
"Now eat you pig" He said and I glared , he laughed stupidly. I opened the box and I can't help but gulping my saliva. My favorite carbonara and potato wedges!
After eating and talking with Michael for awhile , he has to go because his parents need him at work. My parents are going to the office too to settle my work while I'm sick before it'll piles.
I turned to Luke who is being so quite sitting beside my bed. He didn't say anything when Michael came until he go.
"What's with the face?" I asked and he shook his head
"So are you going to stay silent and not talking to me? I thought you miss me" I pouted and he smiled
"Of course I miss you.. After 2 weeks of torture , you gave me a heart attack" I pulled his hand and hug him. I put my chin on his shoulder and just hugging him right now is really helping my mood.
He kissed the side of my head and I just hug him so tightly
"Stop being jealous.. he's just my bestfriend" I whispered to his ear
"He knows you more than me.. while I just sit there know nothing" He answered
"Let me tell you all of it then" I kissed his cheek and sit back straight again
"I love potato wedges.. I eat that a lot.. I love pink and red.. I hate cheese but I'm a chocolate mania" I kept telling everything to Luke and tell him so many stories about myself. He told me a lot too.
I never know talking to him will be such a fun thing until the nurse came up to me to give me shots and medicine. She said I have to rest because my blood sugar is still low and the fever is still there but I wanted to talk to Luke more.
"You have to sleep.. You need to recover yourself" He said and adjust my bed into a sleep position. I pouted
"I want to talk to you"
"You have forever to do that" He said and my stomach just send butterflies out. I smiled
"I heard you have to go to LA tomorrow to visit your grandma" He suddenly said and damn I just remember that
"Dang it!"
"I told your parents to go first and I'll go there with you" I squealed in happiness
"Are you serious? Like serious serious?" I asked still not believing
"Yes you little red" He chuckled
"We'll go there in 2 days.. if the doctor let you"
"He will let me.. I'll heal fast" I said and he nodded. He never let go my hand and just sit there beside me all the time.
"Luke" I called
"Hmm?" He raised his eyebrows
"I like you a lot.. a lot , don't even think about leaving me cause I'll get you even you're trying to push me away" I said and he laughed
"Here you are.. so afraid for me to go while I'm here thinking if you're going to leave me one day"
"That will never happen.. I mean I'm going to hunt you in your sleep" I joked
"Well I'm glad if you're going to hunt me in my sleep.. you'll be the most beautiful nightmare for me" I smacked his hand for giving me chills by saying that
"Now sleep you hyper kid"
"You should go home and rest for awhile you know.. have a hot bath and eat something delicious" I suggested
"No thanks.. I rather stay here not taking a bath" I laughed
"You stink"
"Well you like me so bare with it Hailey" He said and I laughed. The medicine suddenly gave me a sleepy effect. I closed my eyes and Luke kissed my forehead.
"I'll be here when you wake up" He whispered , I nodded weakly
"I like you too Hailey.. a lot" That make me smile and drift to sleep faster
