Cat's Eyes [TMNT Cat's Eyes series; book One]

Chapter One: Fifthteen Years Later

Winter's POV

Kneeling down opposite of my sister, ready to spar. She had her twin daggers in her paws, and I had my twin tessens. "Hajame!" At the command, we launch our attacks, Shadow spins under my outstretched arm, and her elbow connects with my chest, knocking me back. Lashing my tail for balance, I swing back, locking her arm up under my own, holding one tessen to her throat, but she flips me over her head, and pins me down, holding one dagger to my throat, and the other behind my head.

"Yame! Shadow, let your sister up." Shadow smirks and steps off me, placing her daggers in her belt. I growled softly, and stand up, brushing myself off. "Well done! You two have been getting stronger with each passing day." We smile at sensei's compliment. We race each other out to the living room, turning on the TV, and putting Avatar in the DVD player. I sit on the couch, reading a book, a book Kaede had brought from when she once lived aboveground.
