"If they got problems, we got a chance." Rick said. He was crouched over Bob to cut him loose.

"It sounded like a bomb," Glenn said, moving towards one of the windows so he could see out.

"Sounds like a damn war," I agreed.

"Right there," Rick directed us towards a table full of knives. I tucked Jo's blade in my belt and took two large knives off the pile. I tried not to think too hard about what they had been used for. I wondered how many people they had managed to kill.

"Who the hell are these people?" Bob asked. His eyes were still wide with fear and shock. I wondered if he would ever start to get over the shit we faced.

"They ain't people," I responded coldly as I looked at the body on the table, the one they had been butchering. It was Alex, the man who first showed us around. So they really were going to eat one of their own.

Glenn moved to the bodies of the butchers. He raised his knife, prepared to stab them both in the skulls.

"Don't," Rick called coldly. "Let them turn." Glenn looked shocked, but I couldn't say I disagreed with Rick. These bastards deserved worse.

Rick led the way through a side door. The air was cold and it reminded me of the cellar of the house where I grew up. We went through a barred door and slowed. Hunks of meat and torsos and thighs were all hanging from meat hooks from the ceiling. It was all human. I looked down at the tables and it was smaller cuts of meat, too many to count. All human.

"Cross any of these people, you kill them." Rick's voice growled.

Bob flinched.

"Don't hesitate. They won't." I found another knife and slid that one into my belt as well. Jo would need as many knives as I could find her. I spotted a long piece of metal pipe. I broke it off and swung it a few times to get the hang of it.

Glenn and Rick were stopped near the door. "If we run we can get by them, they're distracted." Rick said, motioning to a group of walkers who were banging on one of the shipping containers we had run by earlier. It was one of the ones that had people in it.

"We gotta let those people out. That's still who we are. It's gotta be," Glenn's voice was tired but he was determined.

I walked around the last table, snagging two more knives off of it. At this rate I would have Jo completely outfitted by the time I got back to her. I stepped up next to them and saw the four walkers hanging around the door. We could take them pretty easily. I nodded to Rick. It would be fine.

We ran for the shipping container, each killing a walker. I fought with the metal pipe in one hand and a knife in the other. Glenn ran for the door and swung it open.

The man in there had been in there for months. The stench of shit and vomit coming off him was enough to make us want to gag. "We're the same!!!" He yelled and he barreled over Glenn knocking him to the ground. His eyes were wide and crazed. He ran into Rick. "We're the same!" he laughed.

"Back off," Rick said shoving him back.

He laughed again and a walker slammed into him, sinking it's teeth into his neck. Rick backed away so we could make our way to our people but Glenn jumped forward. I stabbed the man in the head.
