3rd Person.

Damon and Bonnie followed behind Ava and Kai from a short distance, muttering quietly between themselves. Ava had gotten bored of Damon's incessant complaining about how he hated Kai. A lot.

Bonnie was simply agreeing with Damon's words although Ava could see it in her eyes that she was lying. Bonnie was totally into Kai.

"Kai. What're ya doin'?" Ava asked as she walked faster to catch up with Kai. He gave her a side look and a small smirk before looking forward into his little gadget thing. Ava huffed in annoyance and stopped walking.

Kai looked back at her and smiled brightly, a small laugh escaping his lips. "You're a baby." Kai teased the short girl who crossed her arms in annoyance. "Fine. Come, little one, I'll tell you all about what I'm doing." Kai spoke.

Damon frowned at the tone in Kai's voice, about to reach out to pull his fragile little human friend back before Bonnie grabbed his wrist and shook her head. She wanted to see what Kai was planning. Ava seemed like a good test subject in Bonnie's eyes.

"You're gonna get her killed." Damon snarled at Bonnie, ready to lunge forward again and protect the girl. As much as the girl got on his nerves he did love her - plus she was Stefan's.. something, and Stefan would kill him if he returned without her.

"No I won't. We've both got her back if he tries anything." Bonnie nodded sharply.

"Sooo, what are we doing here? Wandering around looking through a weird little... thing at the sky like complete weirdos? Is this just something you do normally?" Ava asked sarcastically, turning to glance at Kai briefly to see him already staring at her intently, his permanent smirk still itched into his face.

He stopped in place, Ava coping his actions, and pointed his ascendant into the air, peering through it for a few second before speaking. "I'm looking for the exact right spot." He informed her before continuing to walk.

Ava stood still for a few seconds, processing his words, before following behind him. "What?"

He looked down at the ascendant in his hands, fiddling with it for a second before pointing it at the sky again. "The place where the power of the eclipse is focused." He continued, peering through the ascendant once more.

"Couldn't you have done that in the time that you've been here?" Ava asked curiously.

"But back then, I had no hope of getting out of here." he smirked at her again. He then moved a few steps closer to her, almost pressed right against her. "Look at you, the whole package - pretty face, pretty brain-" He paused, looking over her body, "Pretty a-"

"Watch it, lover boy." Damon snapped.

The two boys had a slight glare-off before Kai snorted and continued to walk. "You know, you could have just shown us the ascendant to begin with." Bonnie spoke after a few seconds of awkward silence.

"Yeah but I wanted for her to undress me," Kai spoke sarcastically, shooting a wink to Ava who rolled her eyes.

"There's something not right about him.." Bonnie muttered lowly, mostly aimed towards Damon who still believed that she truly wasn't interested in the brown haired boy with an adorable smile and a dimple.

"You're just not used to guys paying attention to Ava instead of you." Damon spoke with a serious tone and a smirk dancing on his lips as Ava snorted slightly before walking quicker to catch up with Kai again.

Damon and Bonnie stopped walking, speaking about something for a few seconds before Bonnie picked up a paper and read through it for a few seconds. Damon continued forward, wanting to stay near Ava and Kai in case anything happened.
