Part 21

Hayden's POV

We got to the carnival and my heart was racing.

I haven't really had an actual "date" with Toby for 3 years.

I was so nervous and thinking about all of the ways something could go wrong.

I just turned to Toby and smiled awkwardly.

"So what do you want to do first" he asked excitedly.

I looked around at the carnival.

All I could see was bright games and rides and hundreds of screaming toddlers.

I saw a game that has something to do with water guns.

"Lets do that!" I said.

We walked toward the game.

As soon as we got there, the guy running the stand gave us a big smile and explained the directions. 

"Hey there! All you do is pick up the water gun and try to shoot at the moving target, if you win you get one of these big teddy bears behind me."

Toby looked at me.

"I'm gonna win you a teddy bear" he said with confidence.

I found this very adorable of him.

"Aww, okay."

I stepped back while he picked up the water gun.

The target started moving up and down and side to side.

Toby started shooting all over the place until after 5 mintues, he shot water in the center.

The guy yelled "we have ourselves a winner!"

He handed Toby a teddy bear and then he gave it to me.

He held my hand and said "I love you, beautiful."

I blushed even though I've known this guy for years.

I hugged Toby.

I have so much love for him wow.

As soon as I let go, I saw the person I wanted to see the least.

Drake.

You see, a year or two after I broke up with Toby, I was still heartbroken. So I went to a club and got a little bit too drunk. I met Drake and we dated for like a week. I broke up with him though since I had no actual feelings for him. But, Drake was apparently "in love" with me, so it was hard to make him let go.

If Toby knew about Drake, I feel like that would mess up what we had.

I gasped at the sight of him.

Toby looked at me in confusion.

"What-what's wrong?" he asked worried.

I couldn't reply, I was in so much shock that Drake was here in Canada.

He was literally staring right at me and Toby.

Toby saw me staring over his shoulder and turned around and saw Drake staring.

"Um, who is that Hayden?"

"N-nobody, lets go."

I grabbed Toby's hand and started to drag him away.

As soon as I thought we escaped Drake, I heard running footsteps behind me.

Then a voice..

"Hayden, wait!"

A/N:  Should I reveal my Instagram account? I wouldn't mind but I'm not sure if you guys would even want to know XD I feel like I haven't updated forever lol. Anyway's, try to suggest a actor that should play Drake! He wont affect the storyline too much but I like giving actors to every character XD Kind of short chapter so I'm really sorry, but school has been taking up so much time!
