Aphrodite POV
I stand there, stunned, witnessing their unknowing duet. I applaud quickly, and hold back tears. Wait, scratch that. I'm crying. I have to stop applauding so that I can dig my emergency makeup kit out of my ginormous purse that I opted to go with today. I thrust the mirror onto Piper, and then give a quick swipe to my mascara and a dab to my lipstick.
"Annabeth, dear, of course I'll help you get your fiancée back. Percabeth is my OTP, after all!" I sigh dreamily, thinking of all the twists and turns that their love has overcome. [A/N - And will overcome......muahahahahahahaha] I smile thinly, and then hustle away, looking for Athena. After I find her, we engage in several hours of hushed arguments. But after we finish, the deed is done. And the deal is set.
Athena POV
Wow. Aphrodite actually managed to convince me to let my daughter date that sea spawn. Admittedly, it did take several hours, a graph, 2 pie charts, and a goose -don't ask-, but it did still work. Now I have to find my daughter, and take back my oath. As I search the streets of Olympus, I finally find my daughter, who is showing an Aphrodite girl some of the new statues and temples she put in. Piper, I think her name is. One of the 7. Anyway, I approach them, and as soon as Annabeth spots me, she stiffens.
"Hello, mother." She says this in such a cold voice I think she's Khione for a second. Then I realize that there is too much contempt in her voice for it to be Khione.
"Wow, what a nice greeting. I only wished to speak to you about my oath that I took, preventing you and the Sea Spawn from being together." She shakes her head at this, and sighs.
"His name is Percy." Her voice is unforgiving and portrays true disappointment, and I almost take a step back. "Anyway, what about? Are you here to make me take an oath? Or to give me a different boyfriend? I will not take him. The only boyfriend I will ever have is Percy." She presses her lips together, and then motions for me to explain.
"Aphrodite convinced me to let you two be. Of course, she has a little something planned, but that is of no matter. I have the power in me as a god to remove 5 oaths on the River Styx in my lifetime, and I have already used 2. I shall use my 3rd on this one." I raise my arms and chant.
"Μετά το δικαίωμά μου ως θεά, εγώ διάταγμα που προηγούμενη όρκο μου πρόληψη Περσέα Jackson και Ανναμπεθ Chase από το να είναι μαζί ως ψευδείς, και να καταργήσετε αυτόν τον όρκο από τον εαυτό μου." [A/N- I used google translate, sorry if it's imperfect.] After I finish, I look over at Annabeth, who has clapped her hands over her mouth, her eyes shining. She looks genuinely happy, AND she no longer looks like she wants to slap me. Piper, on the other hand, is squealing quietly and jumping up and down while clapping her hands together. Yep, definitely an Aphrodite kid. I then wave my hands and send the two girls back to Camp Half-Blood, using up the last of my energy. And then I fall asleep.
Piper POV
As soon as Athena sends us back to CHB, I shriek and turn to Annabeth.
"OHMIGODS OHMIGODS OHMIGODS OHMIGODS OHMIGODS OHMIGODS OHMIGODS OHMIGODS [A/N- And on and on and on and on...]!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?" She nods her head, and then orders me set up a date between her and Percy, and to only explain the bare minimum. She would go into further detail later tonight. I nod quickly, promising to be back shortly to give her a makeover for the date. Then, I lean in, pretending to tuck a piece of hair behind her hear and sniffle something out about my OTP growing up. In reality, I'm removing the camera I placed on her before I set my plan into action. (What? It's standard Aphrodite Cabin OTP break up procedure.) Then, I run to the Poseidon Cabin as fast as my legs will carry me.
"PERCY!!!!!!!!!!" I screech, banging on the door. He opens the door, and I pinch my nose. As I step inside, I say in a stage whisper, "Geez, Perce. When was the last time you cleaned in here? Wait, I don't want the answer to that question." He pretends to be offended, and then smiles and stands aside to let me in. Then, still smiling, he crosses his arms, and then scowls.
"Alright, spill. What's been going on with you and...and...well..you know who I mean. I heard you two left camp today?" He's looking at me with such force that I have the urge to tell him absolutely everything. BUT, I'm on strict orders from Annabeth to only say the bare minimum.
"Okay, so all I can say is that a formidable force was holding Annabeth back from being with you. She did not want to break up with you- she was forced. Anyway, we went up to Olympus to cash in a favor and pull some strings. It worked, and now you two have a date tonight, It'll be at Zeus' Fist- wear something classy but not too fancy." Then, I do the same thing that I did to Annabeth, and remove his camera. Afterwards, I run to the Athena cabin, stuffing the camera into my pocket as I go.
As soon as I get there, I instruct Annabeth on who to go to in my cabin, and then I leave her to that. Then, I rush to Bunker 9, hoping to find Leo. I find him, along with my boyfriend and Calypso. After I give Jason a quick peck on the lips, I use charmspeak to order everybody out except for Leo. As soon as they file out, he raises his eyes at me.
"Alright, which breakup cameras am I putting together today?" I give him a tight smile, and then thrust the cameras toward him. I mouth Percabeth (any louder and Jason would hear and come rushing back to find out the gossip on his "bro".) to him and he nods, then sets to work on putting the 2 cameras in chronological order so that when I watched it, I could tell what they were doing at the same time. I sit there for hours on end as he works before he finally, finally, finally he pushes up his glasses and pronounces it up. I greedily snatch the jump drive from his extended hand. Running out of the bunker, I call back over my shoulder,
"K THANKS LEO YOU'RE THE BEST BE BACK LATER GOOD LUCK ON WHATEVER YOU'RE WORKING ON IF YOU NEED HELP DON'T BOTHER ME ABOUT IT UNTIL AT LEAST TOMORROW AFTER THE GLORIFIED DATE!!!" As soon as I reach the Zeus Cabin, I rush in and climb up to the roof and then find my feels corner. It's where I go to watch the breakup videos. Settling into my cushiest blanket, I grab my computer from where it's hidden under 6 pillows. I quickly plug in the jumpdrive and then grab my tissues.
An hour later, I get to where Annabeth sang her song. Little did I know, Percy sang a version of that song too. HEPHEASTUS'S FLAMING VOLCANOES! THE FEELS! Geez, can they just not be so adorable sometimes? Speaking of, I better see what they're both wearing for the date......
