Cemil's POV

I sighed and closed my eyes while lying on the blanket in the garden. I wanted to enjoy the morning sun but it seemed doing that would be difficult due to the clouds that blanketed the sun now and then. I had nothing else to do, so I still remained on the blanket. My phone began ringing and I opened my eyes and reached for it by my side. It was Zach calling and I hesitated answering it but did it anyway.

"Hel-"

"Where are you?"

"In the garden, I-"

"Come to the house now."

I was about to reply but the phone call ended. I sighed and got up carefully, minding my big pregnant stomach. I put on my slippers and carried the blanket. I waddled back to the house where I found Zach in the living room. He got up and walked towards me which made me stop in my step. We had an argument this morning and he left to work very angry this early morning. I didn't expect him to come back this soon after the heated argument we had.

"Zach, I-"

"No Cemil, please let me speak." He pleaded and I shut my mouth. He sighed and approached me, taking hold of my hands in his.

"I'm so sorry about this morning. I said things I wasn't supposed to say and I know my words hurt you because they weren't that good."

"It's okay Zach."

"No it isn't okay. I should spend time with you and not get cooped up in my office. Things have been hard for me with now being head of the clan and the business, but that shouldn't have been an excuse of leaving you alone." He sounded so sincere and I knew he was really sorry.

It has been a month since we discovered that Zach was a dragon lord. After he came back from helping Kenneth, he took me from my family home so that I should live with him in the city. I understood his reason for not being around and during the whole weeks I had been here I never complained. Today I only asked if he could stay with me because I needed him home with me but he refused to stay. I got mad and started calling him out on everything I had let pass without complaining and that caused the argument. He told me I was ungrateful and nagging lover which made me cry. He couldn't stand the sight of me crying so he left. After I calmed down, I took a bath and then decided to get some fresh air in the garden.

"You have been patient with me and you took care of my son while I spent half the night in the office. I should be able to make some time for you, now that you are due anytime and I have to be with you when you go in labour. That's why you asked me to stay with you because you are afraid to be alone when that time comes. I should have understand you and make time for you than what I did in the morning. Please forgive me for refusing your request and hurting you with my unthoughtful words."

"I love you Zach." I told him honestly, in my own way of assuring him that I have forgiven him and he smiled and hugged me as much as he could with my big belly.

"I love you too, so so much dearest." He murmured and then pulled away from me. "I've taken a break from work and anything keeping me busy until the new member of our family joins us. I'll spend every waking moment with you and I'll hold you all night." He smiled at me and I hugged him again.

His phone began ringing and he pulled away to answer it. I looked at him with a smile and watched him talk to whoever had called him. He was refusing to meet someone but the other person seemed to be insisting which made him sigh and put the phone on hold. He gave me a half smile and I wondered what the phone call was all about.

"A mated couple wants to meet me to talk. They say they have something important to tell me and they are already on their way to this city since they don't leave around here. What should I tell them? Whatever you decide will be okay with me."

"You can meet them, I don't mind." I smiled at him and he frowned.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am."

"I will send you my home address and we can talk over lunch." I heard Zach say while talking on the phone and after some brief talk, he ended the call.

"Why did you say home?" I asked curiously since he always meet with people at his office.

"Because I want to spend the day with you dearest and we can meet them together. You are my mate and the affairs of my clan includes you too." He replied.

We spent the few hours before lunch, watching a movie, Ninja Turtles. I felt content being in his arms and I loved every second we spent together. His hand was caressing my stomach lovingly and the baby moved a lot probably sensing his presence that had been missing for sometime.

When the visitors arrived, we met them outside the house to welcome them and then I led them into the dining room where food was being set on the table. We got to know each other during lunch since we had engaged in small talk. The food was delicious and I had my fill until I was content. When we all finished eating, we exited the dining room and sat on opposite couches in the living room. Zach sat beside me and we looked at our visitors.

"We have a son and his name is Nicholas. He's 27 years old." Maggie said and looked at his husband who nodded and looked at us.

"The thing is, our son has multiple personality disorder. There is Cole and he is 27 years old. He is the CEO of our family business. Then there is Klaus who is 22 years old. He is an artist and owns a gallery. The last one is Nick and he is 17 years old. He is in highschool." The husband, Russell, explained.

Zach had told me about Maggie before the visitors got here. Xavier had wanted her for a mate but she didn't want them to have that kind of relationship. Zach had not known they weren't mates until his dragon mentioned it and he confronted his brother. Maggie was mated to Russell who was the alpha's son of the pack that offered them a home to live in when they got here from there home years ago.

"We thought it was just a normal disorder since by then we had not known about being more than humans. Now that we discovered who we are, we've figured out something about our son. Cole is a dragon, Nick is a human and Klaus is a werewolf."

"A hybrid?" I asked and Russell nodded.

I guess it was expected since his father is a werewolf and his mother a dragon. But not everyone paired in such can give birth to hybrid children. It is possible for the child to be a dragon or a werewolf or a hybrid in their case.

"So what's the problem?" Zach asked.

"The problem is that they are not one as they are supposed to be. Yes there are three different creatures but they just don't connect. In fact, everyone tries to shut the other off." Maggie replied.

"We wanted to know if you can help him because we can't and you are our dragon lord. There must be something you can do for him." Russell added.

The room became silent as the two waited to hear from Zach. I also became curious to what he would say to that. By the looks of Maggie and Russell, it seemed they had tried to help their son but failed and now all their hope was on Zach helping them. It would crash them if Zach had no solution.

"I have to meet him and see how I can help. I'd have loved to go back with you but I'm afraid I can't do that. As you see, my mate is pregnant and I can't leave him alone now. Perhaps you can give me a month from now and I'll come see him."

"Or we can just bring him here."

"No Russell. I have to go to him and not the other way round."
