I then started to cry. The doctor came out of my mom's room and he said "First I apologize for your loss. We just didn't have enough time..." I nodded sadly and waited for him to continue.

"Well there are two police men waiting outside for you. They must speak to you immediately." He said smiling softly.

I walked outside remembering what my mom always told me.

Do not talk to strangers. I sighed remembering her paranoia. I then saw the two cops talking to each other.

I walked over to them and said barely audible "You needed me?" they both turned around quickly and stared me up and down. I feel like they are so much taller than me.

"I am guessing you are Ambrosia Ammabell Albany?" The tall man said/asked. I nodded and they both stared at each other.

The other police man turned back around facing me and said "A pleasure to meet you Ms. Albany I am Officer H.D Cover. We found something very interesting in your mom's sudden death in the car crash."

The word death stung my very soul thinking about my mom. How could she just die like that? It is utterly ridiculous.

"What's so interesting about it?" I managed to whisper.

The other cop patted my back while Officer Cover explained softly "Well you see your mom, as you already know, was a business woman." Was... That's past tense.

He stared for a moment and continued "Well it seems that she wasn't directly killed by the car crash because it wasn't a big enough car crash to kill her."

I nodded for him to continue.

"Well we found this in your mom's car." He then handed me her cellphone. It had a text message and it read-

My Darling daughter I must tell you something very important. You will see letters in my desk and it will tell you a few things. I have not enough time to tell you everything. Just Always remember I will be in your mind and soul. DO NOT TALK TO (SEND)

I started crying all over again. So she knew she was about to die? What letters? What is this my mom kept from me?

The officers looked at me sympathetically.

"Ma'am would you like to be alone for now?" I shook my head no and gave the cop a hug. He was first surprise but then he just hugged me back. I cried my soul out.
