I miss you.

Your smile, your laugh,

That vibrant personality,

Sitting together, enjoying life.

I haven't seen you in a while.

You've moved on.

We do still talk,

But only on the phone.

I miss those moments together,

Your happy face.

I want to see you again,

Know what you've faced.

I'd like to meet your new friends,

Who I hope will stay with you.

I'd like to see your smile again.
