The small force rode in through the wooden gates that swung open letting them in as the group rode into town going through Kadis and Tear turned their heads to see children playing with a toy ball. "So this town is small, but nice" Tear said "It's not a castle town princess, but more like a big village" Diev had reverted back to her knightly military tone. "So Diev where is the temple?" Kadis asked "the town hall is the church?" "yes." Diev said. They all ride into the big corral outside the building, getting down everyone walked into the church. Diev held out her hand stopping Kadis and Tear, while the other soldier walked further into the room. They all stopped behind the man with heavy armor and a lightning bolt on his chest. "Captain-knight Diev! Who are these two people?! We let in no outsiders!" he yeld, Diev quickly knelt down. "Father! You must understand who I have brought home!" Diev said. "And who is it that you have brought home with you?" Diev's father asked, "demigods of water and fire." Diev said. The knight stays silent for a moment, "uh Kadis was she supposed to tell her that." Tear whispered, "we were gonna say it if she didn't." Kadis whispered back. Diev's father walked over to Kadis and Tear giving them both a analyzing gaze, "Kadis and Tear is that right?" he asked. "how do you know our names?" Tear asked ignorantly, "why doesn't she know anything about her heritage?!" "she came from Everest." "the ignorant kingdom." Diev's father said angrily. "Never mind that what are you going to do to us?" Kadis asked, "you are gods show us the truth." as the father said this, a knight steps up with a bucket of water. "Ok, by the way is that water clean?" Kadis said, "quite" Diev's father responded. With kadis pulled water from the bucket and turned it into a ball and walked over to Tear. "Drink up we haven't had anything to drink right" Kadis asked, and Tear brought her head to the ball of water and started drinking. Kadis turned to Diev's father "can we get some food too" Kadis asked "yes lord Kadis" "your mood changed quickly" "when serving a god you must be kind" Diev's father responded. Diev's father raised his arm and pointed at the knights and commanded,"now! make a meal fit for our gods here" Diev's father said and the brigade of knights behind left the room. After a few hour, the knights came back into the room, two came to Kadis and two to Tear, and two more to Diev. They guided them to an long audience table, "father, why did you move me to the table as well" Diev asked. "Your father has something to tell you" a knight told her, then he backed off and left the room along with the rest of the knights. Diev's father sat at the other end. "Sir Kadis" "yes" "you are a demigod, are not?" "I am a god now that my mother is dead" after saying this Diev's father jumped up. "Likely after my mother, the rest of the gods....so" "you're after the rest of the gods right?" Diev's father finished by asking Kadis. "Well with note I will tell the information of the current gods this town knows of" after he said this he sat back down, "we only know of the twins in the next town which is also a religion based town but it is a matriarchy, will that worry you?" "no, not at all" Kadis answered. "Finally, the demigod of this town is Diev, I am not her father" after hearing this Diev got up and walked out the room. "I am sorry, she didn't know about this until now" Diev's father explained, "It's fine, I'll go talk to her" Kadis said and got up and went after Diev. Kadis looked everywhere around town, during the time it had gotten dark when he finally found her and it began to rain. "My father told you to find me" Diev asked "and if he did what would that matter?" Kadis asked in an inquisitive tone. "I don't know" Diev said looking out of the city, "So what's wrong about this?" Kadis asked. "I guess I enjoyed being a knight being a regular person, to say I'm who I thought I served sounds ludicrous" Diev said. "You may be right on that one, but you don't have to do that alone, right now you have me and Tear and more will come" Kadis explained. "Isn't that nice of you, dear cousin?" said the mysterious stranger cloaked in black, "who are you?" Kadis asked demandingly. "That's not how you should treat family cousin" the stranger said taking off the hood of the cloak "and you are?" "Xiryp nice to meet you cousin!" Xiryp shouted. "Xiryp...Pyrix the god of death." "right, right" Xiryp said, then she offered her hand to Kadis. "Why would you offer me your hand? You want to kill me!" Kadis asked angrily. "Yes actually." Xyrip said casually "why!?" Kadis asked, "I want to kill god and you're in the way" as she said this it began to rain. "It doesn't matter if you two have the advantage here, one's a noob and one is just some pansy." Xyrip said, "I won't let you." "come again?" "I won't let you attack us!" Diev said. A thunder bolt hits the ground near Xyrip, another strikes behind her, "you're not very good at this, and I know that, so you can just die." Xyrip said after charging at Diev. Water rapidly forms to smack back, when she reaches out and the dissolves quickly and as Xyrip reaches Diev, a strong gust of wind throws Xyrip off course. Diev quickly swung her sword and lightning obliterated part of the wall sending Xyrip flying back. Xyrip got back up and pointed at Kadis, "cousin, don't worry your family is happy to say you will be dealt with." Xyrip says as her fades quickly. "I can see that you will need my help" Diev said in a stern manner, "yes, yes I will." Kadis said. "Then I'll go with you." Diev said, "thank you-" Kadis was cut off when Diev quickly hugged Kadis. "I feel kind of like a sister, but like an older one." Diev said kindly, "then please take care of us, sister." Kadis said. Soon after Kadis and Diev had went back and after a whole day of being out Kadis,Tear, and Diev went to sleep a the church where beds were prepare them.
