Time is the Enemy

-Madelyn's POV-

I stood out in the dark, my feet turning numb from the snow,
I decided I needed to get things off my mind, putting on music is the way to do this of course.
The sounds of my dad's voice in my ears makes me feel better. Like his arms are wrapped around me every time I play Motionless in White.
It makes me feel less alone.
I headed down through the woods when I let out a hoarse cough into my freezing hands.
I let out a shaky breath as I noticed some blood that had splattered into my fingers.
I looked around to make sure no one was looking and headed deeper into the woods.

-Chris's POV-
"Hey" said ghost making me flinch, sitting across from me at the table,
I sipped my tea and sighed, "hi"
"What's up"
"Nothing just nervous"
"Why? We've done all the shows"
"I'm just worried about Madelyn that's all"
"Yeah, me too" he sighed,
"I've decided to surprise her, at the camp, I'm gonna pick her up and see how she is"
" aww I can't wait to see my little baby bat," he laughed,
"Same, I've never missed someone so much"
"She's getting on now though huh"
He was right, my little girl was 16, all grown up.
" where has the time gone ghost" I sighed shaking my head.
A tear fell down my cheek and landed in my mug,
"Aww Chris don't cry"
"I'm sorry I shouldn't but I can't help it,"
"She has so much to live for, yeah her up brining wasn't great but you fixed that, and I watched you be the best father she would ever get"
"But,she's depressed ghost!! I can see it in her eyes, I thought I could make her forget,"
"We all did"
"But she still gets those god damn nightmares, she hates the way she looks cause of her scars and I just- I don't know what to do"
"That Dylan kid she hangs out with, maybe he might help her a little"

-Dylan's POV-

I stood up as Floss came through the door, snow caught in her red hair,
"Oh my there you are, have you seen Madelyn" I said scared out my mind,
"No I thought she was with you why"
" stay here, I'm going out to look for her" I said grabbing my jacket,
"Woah what the hell is going on!"
"Maddy- she left upset cause she didn't wanna talk about her scars okay"
"You brought up her scars.. Wow, I knew there was something off about you" she rolled her eyes,
"Listen I'm sorry alright, I didn't mean to comment on them I was just concerned"
"She will tell you when she is ready to tell you"
"Wait you know?"
"I've been friends since we were eight, we've both been equally through a lot, so yes I know, now come on let's go find our girl"
I grinned and headed out into the cold..

I honestly am still exhausted out of my mind,
I have no motivation to do anything at all and school is driving me insane at this point,
Anyways I'm gonna make this short but I want to give a quick shout out to a story that is new to wattpad.
It is a Chris motionless fan fiction under the name of Your My Addiction
