"We're here." Demi sighed a satisfied sigh. I looked to my right and saw the biggest fucking house in the history of houses. I may sound dramatic but it's so damn huge so I don't believe I'm being that dramatic. We both headed to the house and she opened it up, only to have the most adorable little girl run up to her. She was so beautiful. She had long curly hair and the chubbiest cheeks any one would wish to have.
"Mommy!" I had no idea that she had a daughter, but ok.
"Hey baby! How has your day been? Did you and daddy have fun together?" She's so good with her.
"Yes mommy. He took me to get ice cweam and then we went to park and I met tons of fwiends and I had the best time mommy I wanna do it again." She ranted. I looked over at Demi to see her genuinely intrigued in what her daughter was saying. Something my mom never did and something I always wished I had.
"That's awesome sweet heart. I'm glad you had a good time." She told her daughter, then went to the man over by the couch and kissed him passionately. Guessing he's either her husband or she's a hoe.
"Hey babe. So y'all had a good time then?" Demi said to her husband(?)
"Indeed we did and she was being a very good girl." He said the last part towards the daughter.
"Well awesome! Er.. I want you guys to meet someone." And then all eyes went to me. I suddenly felt self conscious.
"Guys, this is Kendall. She will be staying with us for a while until we can try to track down any of her relatives. Kendall this is my husband, nick, and my daughter, Gracie." She looked at me, expecting me to say something.
"Hi" I only barely mumbled. Demi, once again, just gave me a sympathetic smile.
"Hi I'm Gracie and I'm 4 years old and I love dolls and chocolate and doggies and my favorite color is pink and-" Demi interrupted her
"Woah woah slow down baby girl! Give her time to breathe!" I just chuckled softly.
"Hi Gracie it's very nice to meet you." I bent down to her level. Suddenly feeling alittle more open. She seemed shocked that I talked to her because her mouth was basically to the floor.
"Gracie, honey, close your mouth or you'll catch flies." Demi smirked. Gracie immediately closed her mouth and went away to do God knows what. She's a little kid, so I bet it's something little kids do.
"I will show you to your room and then you can put your st-" she stopped talking for a moment and looked like a deer in the head lights.
"Shit we didn't go get your stuff! We have to go right n-" I cut her off
"It's okay. I didn't have any thing anyways. My father never bought anything for me." I shrugged like it was an everyday thing, and she did a light huff and mumbled something I think along the lines of "that bastard." But I couldn't really hear her that well.
"Okay then we are going to have to go shopping tomorrow, if that's okay with you?" I just nodded as if to say okay
"Come on. I'll show you to your room." Then she went up the stairs and I followed slowly behind her. Once we got to the room she opened the door to a room, that I guess I'll be sleeping in.
"So there's nothing in here, obviously, because I didn't know anyone was going to stay here, so when we go shopping then we can get stuff for your room. Fortunately you do have a bed in there, though." I smiled at her, Not really in the mood to talk.
I looked at her as she began to walk out and then decided to do something that may make me look weak or a kiss ass or anything of that nature,
I hugged her. Again.
"Thank you so much for everything." I said in her chest
"You are so welcome, honey. Now get some rest. We have kind of a big day tomorrow." I could hear her smiling as she was talking.
I pulled away from the hug and smiled up at her.
"Okay." I told her, then went to the bed and hopped in it.
"Goodnight sweet heart" she said as she was turning off the light.

I tried to sleep, but I just couldn't. I had far too many things swarming in my mind. My father's death, my mom, wondering what's going to happen next, everything. Now that I'm here. I don't want to leave. I love Demi with all of my heart and she's the only person that I want to live with. I just hope they don't find my mom because I know she's still out there, somewhere. I don't want to see her. I want to stay here. I'm going to stay here.
