(In order to keep the story moving, I have to skip through Autumn's life. I can't go through her entire toddler life up to adulthood or this story would be 300 chapters long.)
Harry's POV
Today is Autumn's 11th birthday, and we are hoping she'll be getting a Hogwarts acceptance letter today. She's undeniably a witch. She makes things happen all the time, sometimes getting her in a... sticky situation.
Autumn's POV
"Daddy!" I yelled. My daddy, Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, one of the most amazing heroes of all time, comes rushing in.
"What happened, Autumn?" He says, noticing the mess I've created.
"I was trying to levitate the maple syrup bottle while pouring some on my pancakes and the bottle went crazy and spilled everywhere," I say, sheepishly.
"Well, let me get Dad," he says. My Dad is Draco Potter. He comes into the room and sees what happened, and laughs.
"That's quite a mess you've gotten yourself into, Autumn," he says. He casts a spell and some mops and other things begin cleaning up the mess.
"Thanks," I say, and begin walking to the bathroom to take a shower, because I'm covered in maple syrup.
Draco's POV
As I'm cleaning the mess Autumn has left for me, I hear Harry yell. "Babe, look!"
I come to the room Harry is in and he's holding the mail. There's some mail from an owl, and in some of it there's a letter from Hogwarts. Autumn's acceptance letter!
Harry and I, quite literally, jump up and down like little girls.
"Our baby is going to Hogwarts! She's going to Hogwarts!"
Autumn comes out of the shower and looks at us confused.
"What's the excitement about?"
Harry hides the letter behind him and says "Oh... nothing... except... THIS!" And he shows her the letter. Autumn starts screaming and crying and asking us if it's a joke.
"Nope, 100% real, baby. You're going to Hogwarts!" I say.
Harry and I hug her as she cries. "I can't believe I'm going to Hogwarts! I'm going to see where you and dad met and where dad and Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron used to hang out!"
"Just make sure you stay away from those awful Slytherins," Harry says with a wink.
"Yeah, avoid the Gryffindors too. Pretty full of themselves, I'd say," I say, winking back.
"You two..." Autumn says, laughing.
"Seriously though, what house do you think you're going to get?" Harry asks.
"Maybe Hufflepuff. I'm not sure," she says.
"I think you'll be a Ravenclaw, you're so smart," I say.
Harry's POV, after Autumn's first year of Hogwarts
We picked Autumn up from platform 9 3/4 after her first successful year of Hogwarts. She chose to stay for Christmas to stay with her friends, but she sent us letters throughout her entire year.
"So, how was it? Tell us all about it!" Draco says.
"Well, I was sorted into Ravenclaw, which I told you in my letters,"
"That's my girl!" I exclaim, rustling her hair.
"And I made a few friends who seem pretty nice, and they helped me get around to classes and everything," she said.
"I also found out which teachers I did and didn't like and which teachers were easy to mess with," she laughed.
"Atta girl," Draco said.
I laughed and said, "Reminds me of back when I went to Hogwarts. Glad to know you had fun. I hope next year is just as fun for you, baby."
