~~~~~~Russet~~~~
I looked at Isa, and her eyes were wide as Snow was leaning over the side of the bed. I grabbed Riner and Speckle, and got them away from their brother, giving him room and air. Red turned human and leaned over to his son, and laid his hand on his head.
"Isa, what's wrong with him?" He asked, obviously scared by this turn of events.
"I-I think he might either be allergic to something in that medicine, or I gave him too much of it."
Snow groaned. "Ugh, I feel like my innards are now outtards."
Speckle laughed. "Really? Even when you're that sick, the first thing you do is make a joke?"
"Yup," Snow replied, laying on his back, his eyes closed. "But hey, at least that medicine is out of me. That was disgusting."
Riner sat up. "Wait, you tasted that stuff?"
"Yeah. As it was going in me." He opened his eyes and looked at Isa, every ounce of him was very serious. "Never put that junk in my again. Ever."
Isa nodded. "I should have realised that you were too small to have such a large dose--"
"No, don't ever give me that. Please." With a weary sigh, Snow closed his eyes and laid his head down on his pillow. Within a few seconds, he was asleep.
"Looks like he didn't quite get all of it out of his system," Isa commented. "It'll be good for him to get some rest." Red rounded on her.
"How could you give him something that could make him so sick!?" He demanded, his worry for his son making him hostile. "He could have died! You should have known better!"
The rabbit part of Isa made her cower in the fox's anger. She was always uneasy when she was near us, since most of us were predators, and she was prey. "I didn't know!" Isa protested.
"You should have known! You're a doctor!" Red roared. I gripped his arm.
"Red, calm down," I soothed. "Snow, nor Silver, would want you to act like this. The best thing you can do for Snow is to stay calm."
Red sighed, and ran his hand through his shaggy hair. "I guess." He mumbled. "Sorry, Isa. Lost my mind."
"Don't mention it," Isa replied, eyeing him nervously.
Red sat down, and closed his eyes, arms crossed. I could tell that, in a few minutes, he had fallen asleep. Speckle and Riner were curled around each other, also asleep. I looked at my watch. it was already eleven o' clock. I went to my bed, and the moment my eyes closed, I was out like a light.
~~~~~~~Snow~~~~~

That night, I woke up a lot. Each time, I was nauseous. When I woke up the last time, Russet was doing something, her back to me.

"Russet?" I asked her. She turned around.

"Yes, Snow?" She replied. "What is it?"

"I'm hungry."

Russet turned and grabbed me some crackers. I wolfed them down. Haha. 'Cause I am a wolf. Ha.

"I see you are hungry," She commented.

"Yeah."

"How do you feel?"

"Still kinda sick, but not nearly as bad. Mostly, I'm just hungry." As in response, my stomach growled.

Russet laughed softly, then got me a few more crackers. "Eat them slowly," She told me. "They'll fill you up better."

I nodded, chewing each cracker slowly. "I wish I could turn human," I sighed. "It would make eating crackers so much easier."
