8 - Science Projects (Part 2)

We decided to go to my house to work since he didn't want people over at his. We walked down the road with a big distance between us. I was far up ahead with him 10 feet behind.

We entered the house and saw my dad on the couch watching TV.

"Hi Papa," I smiled. "This is my... Classmate, Adrien. We need to work on a science project for school." He gave me a weird look. I smiled wider.

"Ah.. Welcome to our messy, still not unpacked home," Adrien thanked my dad and we walked to my room. At least he did.. My dad held me back. "Just a classmate?"

"Yes dad. I honestly really hate him." I groaned.

"Then why are you partners....?" He gave me a blank look.

"I didn't choose to," I sighed. "We were partnered up." He nodded his head in his "I understand now" way.  I shrugged and went upstairs.

I saw Adrien on my porch staring at the view. Oh how I wanted to lock him out there. I resisted the urge and interrupted his peace.

"Are you ready to work?" I asked. He jumped and walked back in.

"Sure. So what are we gonna d-" he got cut off by a beeping noise. He took out his phone and suddenly jumped up.

"Uh. Sorry (y/n) but I need to go. It's an emergency. I'll see you tomorrow though!" He ran out of my room. I looked angrily and confused at the door.

"YEAH SURE! JUST RUN OUT LIKE THAT!!" I yelled. I groaned in frustration and fell back on my bed. Dawn flew out and into my face.

"(Y/n)! There's trouble! You need to go, transform! Let's go!!" She yelled at me.

"Really? Okay! Dawn, Antlers On!" I transformed and ran to my balcony, jumping away trying to be unseen...
