I woke up in an unfamiliar room. I sighed slightly scared, then I remembered that I went to a hotel last night. I got up and walked to the door, about to go out to get breakfast somewhere. I opened the door and crashed into a guy, the guy from last night. He smiled a warm smile at me. "Hi, I'm Lukas. What's your name."

"Nice to meet you Lukas, I'm Annie." I smiled, I think this guy might grow on me.

"So what are you doing up this early?" He asked. I shrugged, not really having a destination. He smiled widely. "You wanna go get breakfast with me?" He asked smiling slightly. I nodded not trusting my voice. He grabbed my hand and I flinched slightly hoping he didn't notice, but of course the world didn't want me to have things my way today. He looked at me confused and slightly hurt that I flinched at his touch.

I looked down at the floor. He lifted my head and made me look at him. I looked in his eyes and stared. I couldn't help myself. His eyes were so beautiful, they were like a galaxy in there and when he smiled ever-so-slightly they glistened. He was looking at me with adoration in his eyes. I think if somebody put the light out in his eyes, it might be a crime against humanity.

The front door jingled as somebody walked through the door. He pulled away hesitantly. He walked up to the front desk and asked the woman if he could help her. "Yes, do you work here?" She asked him.

"Yes ma'am." He answered. He helped her into a room and met me back where he left me. He smiled shyly and grabbed my hand. He smiled and took me outside, going to his car. When we got to his car halfway across the parking lot, he opened the door for me. I smiled and got in his passengers seat. I buckled my seat belt as he got in the drivers seat. He started the car and began driving us down the street.

We arrived at a restaurant and waited for a table for two. We got seated and ordered. I ordered a omelet with bacon, ham, and cheese in it. We started eating and starting small talk.

We got back to the hotel and I decided to go and check up on my dad. I got my car keys, not bothering to pack because I am coming back after I know he is still alive. I went out to the silver car and drove to my old house, not home, this place was never a home, and knocked on the front door.
