Four: Date

Lynn

It has been a month. This is our fourth date! I have no clue where we are going but before w just went to simple restaurants. It was so nice but weird at first. Gray told me that this time is going to be different. He told me that I could dress normal if I wanted or I could dress up all nice. I don't know if I should dress nice or not. 

I take a shower and I shave everything just to be sure. I don't know what he has in plan for tonight but I hope we can move closer than the just kissing stage. 

I'll go simple. I will wear a nice pair of my booty shorts that I never really wear with a crop top. Just because I'm not doing anything right now I decide to curl my hair. I still have two hours until Gray said he would come and get me. 

I get my curling iron out and plug it in. I turn it on high and I walk away to let it heat up. When I go into the kitchen I can hear talking next door. Since they live on the right side of my apartment that means it's probably Gray talking. Gray's bedroom is next to my kitchen. . . 

Should I listen or leave it a surprise? Maybe they aren't talking about me. I'm gonna listen but if it is bad I will stop. 

"--done anything with her? Like sexually? I don't want to be in your business but if you guys do please make sure you use protection. Do you even have protection, Grayson?" Ethan is saying

"Ethan, dude, chill out. Yes, I have protection! You know as well as I do that all we are doing is going to a drive-in movie. All we are doing is watching a movie, dude. Chill." Gray tells him

"Yep. Watching a movie. In the dark. In a car. What always happens at DRIVE-IN's Grayson?! Don't tell me you won't try to do something because I know you will." Ethan says back. 

"I'm going to try my best not to do anything. I'm not going to rush anything with her. If she wants something then okay but I will talk about that with her. Not my twin brother. Thank you for caring but let's make a deal to not care about each others sex life." Grayson says

"Deal" Ethan replies.

He is taking me to see a drive-in movie. I look at the clock. 5:17pm. He is going to pick me up at seven so I have to start curling my hair.

Ethan cares but a little too much. I like Lynn a lot but it has only been a little over a month and that is way to early to say I love you. I can't judge that right now. 

Sadly to say, the most me and Lynn has done is the first day. From there we have had little make-outs but not huge ones. Not like the first day. I was hoping something would happen tonight but I don't care if it does. I am just happy that I can spend time with her. But it would be a plus if a little something happened at all tonight. 

I have been sitting in my room for about an hour since me and Ethan talked. I can sometimes hear her moving around in her apartment because my room is right along hers. 

I look at the clock. 6:29pm. I decide to go over there early.

 I have been just sitting in my room not knowing what to do. I already made sure I had everything in my purse. Wallet, tampons just in case, protection just in case, and everything else I usually carry in it. 

I don't want to watch t.v. because then I don't want to get bored at the movies with him so I grab a book from my shelf that I have been reading. I am on the fifth book and the series is called The Mortal Instruments. It is a great series so far. As soon as I open the book and start reading I hear my front door open------then close. Footsteps.
