V sorry this is so late!!

Like every other day, you're doing your usual jobs like clearing the old fire from last night and sorting out new weapons for today's hunting. All of the boys are helping you out with sharpening the spears and arrows, as well as tightening them up so they don't fall apart.

"Hey can someone get my dagger?" You ask in general.

"I will!" Both Peter and Felix yell, jumping up from sitting on the ground beside you.

You jump and look up at them shocked, even some of the lost boys getting startled. Peter glares at Felix and clenches his jaw, "No I'll get it, I'll be quicker."

"No you won't, I'll go get it," Felix replies harshly at Peter.

"Please," Peter stifles a laugh. "You faster than me?"

"Yeah," Felix nods, stepping forward.

They both look down at you with harden features, "Where is it?"

Sighing, you stand up and brush yourself off, "It's cool guys, I'll get it."

Pushing your way through them, a huff falls from your lips. They've been acting so weird around you for a while now, and they've been getting aggravated by each other a lot. You can't seem to think of what it could be though, so as you leave your tent to see them up in each other's faces once again you can't help but roll your bright eyes.

Today all of the boys are having a day off at the beach, and you're hoping that Peter and Felix will just get along throughout the whole day. You're all splashing around in the shimmering blue ocean under the warmth of the sun, enjoying the peace on the island.

Peter comes up beside you, "Hey Laney, wanna go to the waterfall?"

Just as you're about to answer Felix comes up on your other side and interrupts, "Alaina do you want to go to Mermaid Lagoon?"

You smile, "Well Peter just-"

"We're already going somewhere actually," Peter interrupts you and you furrow your eyebrows. When you look at him, you see him glaring at Felix and he grabs onto your upper arm.

"Well-"

"I was asking her, I'm sure she can change her mind if she wants to," Felix says, obviously irritated by Peter and he grips onto the top of your other arm.

"But she doesn't, she wants to come with me to the waterfall," Peter grits through his teeth, pulling you closer to him.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah!"

"Oh will you stop it! You're acting like children not wanting to share their toy, and I'm definitely not a toy!" You finally yell, pulling your arms from their grip.

"Alaina, I'm sorry-"

You interrupt Felix, "No! I've had enough of it. You guys have been acting so weirdly lately and I hate it!" Angrily, you begin storming away from them and make your way onto the sand. You trudge your way through the wet part, and then as you get to the soft golden sand that begins sticking to your legs you feel someone's presence come up behind you.

"Laney-"

"Not in the mood, Peter," you interrupt him bluntly, walking quicker.

"No, listen to me," he pulls your arm so you turn around, but you whip it out of his grip and glare at him. "I apologise for acting so... odd lately. But it's only because- well..."

"Oh spit it out Peter," you snap angrily.

Stepping closer to you, he pushes your dark hair behind your ear as he looks deeply into your eyes. His emerald eyes are glimmering and you can't help but get lost in them. You can feel his hot breath fanning over your lips and you can't help but flicker your eyes down to his, blushing brightly.

"Peter, what are you-"

"Just, be quiet for one moment," he whispers, his eyes fixated on your lips.

Everything goes so slowly, and it seems like an eternity before his lips finally land on yours causing an explosion of electricity to fly through your body. The both of you just seem to mould perfectly together, and you can't help but kiss him back. You tangle your fingers in his soft hair and he pulls you closer, making you go up onto your tiptoes.

Eventually you have to pull away to take a deep breath, "Peter- I- what-"

"I've been trying to do that for so long," he laughs nervously, looking down. "You don't know how hard it was."

You giggle and blush, "What does it mean though?"

"I-well uh," he pauses to look back up into your eyes. "Laney, will you be mine?"

Your eyes widen and your voice seems to disappear for a moment. But, you finally cough out, "Yes!"

A smile erupts on his face and he pulls you in for another kiss, making a smile form on your lips.

OMG HELLO BEAUTIES

I've just realised that I haven't updated properly since I was with my ex girlfriend which was like 8/9 months ago

So much has happened this year! I've even been in another relationship since that girl, but with a boy and even that ended badly

BUT I met this boy while with my ex and we've started talking and tomorrow we're hanging out just the two of us wowow

What have you guys been up to? Was your 2016 completely shit?
