Chapter 3

When Catorina and Armin walked into their Math the class, they gave their notes to the teacher and made their way to the back of the room. Catorina looked over at Armin and was about to write him a note when she felt her phone vibrate. Pulling out her phone she saw a text from Andreas and started giggling before replying. After talking about Trinity and Josh for ten minutes with Andreas, Catorina started to blush.

~He likes you a lot Andreas had written.

She replied, *No he don't he was just being friendly.

She wished Armin would like her like that.

~Right… and Josh wasn't about to pound your face in.

*W/e gah you're making me blush.

Just after the message sent, the dark haired teen went up to get her textbook. God, she hated math! She could feel Armin's warmth behind her as they went back to their seats and her phone vibrated again.

~Awwww Cat has a boyfriend!!! XD

Catorina blushed harder as she replied with: *Gah imma kick you next period.

~Lol awww I love ya too kitty cat! ;)

She was about to reply back when Armin tapped her and said,

"I have to admit, you look so cute when you blush."

The dark haired teen started blushing even more than when she was texting Andreas.

"Thanks," she whispered and put her cell phone away.

She started doing the class work that was on the board and when she was finished she started drawing on her book while daydreaming.

Armin looked over and smirked. "I see you're drawing me," he said causing her to stop daydreaming and look at him with a dumbfounded expression.

"Huh?" Armin pointed to Catorina's paper and they looked down to see what she drew on the page. Upon seeing the small picture of Armin's chibi face with a heart, the taller teen blushed a pretty shade of pink.

"So how about after school today can we hang out?" Armin asked.

"Sure," Catorina grinned eagerly. "We just have to go to my house so I can drop my stuff off and then we can go to your house next so you can drop your stuff off and decide what to do from there."

The bell rung and Catorina jumped up and waited for Armin. They both walked out the class and Catorina guided the German to the lunch room. Catorina spotted their friends at the back of the room, near the windows and waved, hurrying Armin along. Then she realized as they got to the table.

She turned and said, "Crap. I forgot to ask you did you bring your lunch? If you didn't, you want the school lunch?"

Armin shrugged and put his backpack down on a chair next to Catorina's stuff.

He said, "I'll try the school lunch and hopefully I won't die."

They laughed and walked over to the lunch line, Andreas tagging along. They met up with Samantha and Georg.

"Dies hier ist euer Deutschland Dies ist das Land wo wir leben Dies ist das neue Deutschland Dis wo ich her komm." Armin's phone loudly went off causing the people in front of them to turn around.

"Hallo?" he quickly asked.

"Are you there?"

"Yeah we're here," Armin replied in German, "but where are you?"

"I'm in the next town over. I'll be there tonight"

Armin nodded. "Ok, bye." Armin hung up and was surprised to see that everyone was looking at him with questioning looks.

"Was that Derek?" Georg asked Armin quietly while walking farther up the line.

Armin just nodded and continued moving with the line. Catorina sent a questioning look to Andreas and Samantha but decided to forget about it and shrugged her shoulders.

"So, Andreas where should I take Armin after school?" Catorina asked her long time friend.

The bleached blonde shrugged, replying, "I don't know you know everything sucks in this town."

"Oh you're a bunch of help. Thanks, Andi," Catorina rolled her eyes.

Armin cut off whatever smart remark Andreas would have come back with, suggesting, "How about we just hang at your place and on Friday we all go to the movies." It was actually a good idea.

"Ok. I just have to make sure it's ok with my mom."

Catorina was already pulling out her cell phone. By this time they were back at their table with their slices of pizza.

"Mommy?" Catorina asked into the phone.

"What Cat?" Simone asked. She sounded tired. "Do you want me to come and get you? It's not even one yet."

The dark haired teen started blushing and said; "No mom. I'm fine. I was just wondering if a friend could come over after school."

She could almost hear her mother roll her eyes and shake her head, saying, "Cat you know I don't care if Andi or Sammi comes over."

"No mom it's another friend. His name is Armin."

There was silence on the other end. Then her mother laughed.

She said, "Oh I get it. You got a boyfriend. Yeah, your boyfriend can come over." Simone was still laughing and it caused Catorina's fading blush to become inflamed again.

"It's not like that mom," she whined. "Gah! Okay bye mommy."

She quickly hung up and said to Armin,

"My mom says sure."

She was still blushing. Andreas and Samantha sent her a knowing look causing her to blush even more.
