He knew only one way to get them warm in a solution like this and began to remove his coat, than his shirt, shoes, socks and shoes and then he did Mason. Once done he sat on the cold snow covered ground and hugged mason tight to him. Using his body heat to keep his son warm.

Something wet touches his back, making him jump and turn his head. He stared at the large wolf. Still amazed at its sized and fur pattern. His eyes scanned it and he realized it was a girl. 95 percent of the wolf was black and half her face was white. Black side of her face her eye were hazel brown and on the white side her eye was ice blue.

He watched as she walk to his stretched out leg. Once she got to his feet, she nipped at him. "Ay, stop t-that." His voice came out a stutter. He was unable to feel his lips. She does it again and again.

He started to think the wolf was gonna bite one of his toes off. Shakenly, he stood up. "S-sstop." She ignored him and push him backwards with her nose against his stomach. He turns the way she was pushing him and tuned to the nice size hole, she had dug up. Coming around him, the wolf jumps into the hole, looks at him and then jumps out.

"You want me to get into the hole?" Kurt asked while looking at the wolf but all she does was stare at him. He couldn't believe he was talking about an animal but he took that as a yes. Stepping into the small hole and lay in a balled up form. His 5'11 height was to big for the 4 foot long hole. He had to clutch his son to his extra tight to his chest just to make the both of them fit.

At first he had no idea why the wolf would want them in here. Until he notice how the cold wind wasn't attacking them anymore. It also became extremely warmer, when he felt the wolf lay on top of them. Warming them up even more.

Her thick and soft fur showed no signs of ever being wet.

It didn't take long for him and his son to stop shivering. Her body produced a lot of heat and he began to sweat but he wasn't going to complain.

Moon Night couldn't believe these weak creatures could take down a whole pack of wolves. They had nothing to defend themselves with as prators or even as prey. The creature couldn't stand the cold and It wasn't a fast runner. Here those are the main reasons prey survive.

Those were the thoughts in Moon Night head as she fell asleep.

Waking up with the sun, Moon Night lifts her head taking a look around. When the coast was clear she carefully got up. She was hungry and it's been days since she ate anything. The she wolf must go now if she wanted to get back before night fall and that's only if she's lucky. It can take hours or even days for her to find any game and she doesn't want to leave them defenseless. With that in mind she quietly takes off east to where a large herd of moose go to find grass. No prators would dare go there due to the large number of moose that out numbered them 1 to 100.

Moon Night arrived to her destination by midday. Hiding behind a snow cover bush, peaking around it she scanned the open field that was full with dozens of moose. She was picking out the weak, young and old trying to find which of the three choices would be the quickest and easiest to take down.

Any member of the herd would fight for its young even when it's already died. She immediately took them off of her menu for now. The only way she could see herself taking down the old or weak is getting them tired first and having their herd leave them behind.

Backing away from the brushes, she moved back into the woods. Taking in a deep breath, Moon Night let out a loud howl. It was so loud that echoed off of the trees and hills making it seem as if it was a whole pack of wolves instead of just one.

The herd of moose immediately went into a panic and took off running.

Moon Night ran alone the side of them from the woods. She stayed to the back and waiting for one of them to fall behind. She didn't have to wait long. A large graying female couldn't keep up. Exiting the woods, Moon Night charged at her. Running side by side of the old moose, Moon Night snaps and nips at her front legs until it trips over its own halves. Quickly, She grabs at her throat and ripped it out. Knowing she didn't have enough time to wait for her to bleed out. Moon Night goes to the moose soft under belly and began to eat all she could. Including the heart and the liver.

When she had her fill, she moves to the moose large hind leg and violently tires it off after the sixth tug. This should be big enough to feed the two leggeds. Once she was ready to go the sun was already setting. Nothing happened on her return back to the leggeds. She kept a steady job. She would have ran but her injured shoulder was a bit sore was the hunt. She'll take a look at it once she's back at the den.

Moon Night made it back by the time the moon was ready to set and the sun raise. Going over to the make shift den, she seen the older male sitting up and hugging the pup tight to his front. He must be on guard. Which is foolish because she's practically in front of him and he couldn't see her due to the no lighting and her black fur. She also noticed that they were dressed again.

The male finally notice her once she was a foot away and he jumps up.
