Leah's POV:
"Bye mom!! I am leaving for Katy's house" I said as I walk out the door grabbing my keys.
"Bye honey, have fun and be safe!" Of course I was out of the house by then. I get in my old 2006 Honda and drive to meet up with Katy, Kaylin, and Jamie. "Hey girls!!" "Hey Leah" Jamie says as she eats the whole bag of potato chips. Then Katy and Kaylin come down and when go downstairs to Katy's room to get ready for tonight. "So what should we wear guys???" Kaylin says as we all go through the closet. "Something sexy so we can pick up guys!" Katy says.
"You know I like girls right??" Jamie says. I love Jamie and I really don't care who she likes so I go along with it. "Yes so dress like you gonna get some tonight" I said while putting on a low cut long sleeve purple dress that is knee length. It kissed the curves on my thighs.
"Damn!!! Girls looking fine!!!!!!" said Katy giving me a necklace. "Really? Don't lie to me!" I say insecure. I always been insecure since second grade. People would call me fat, ugly, and mostly everything in the book. That's why I have scars on my thighs and wrist.
"YES! I bet you gonna get ask to dance" "yea right, you all look better than me anyway." As we go to the car I see the school whore Baylee and her little demons. "Look girls it's the three ugly clowns, we are you going? The circus? Cause you just missed them." Baylee says as her demons laugh with her. "What the hell do you want Baylee?" Kaylin is furious. "I'm going to the teen party, hopefully you guys aren't going looking like that! Come on girls, let's go before we catch their ugly"
"Bitch!!" Katy yells. "Come on let's go". The party is crazy loud and it felt like the roof was gonna come off. We go and get drinks, (I didn't drank but everyone else did.) then go to the booths to sit.
"So let's bet on Leah to be the first to get ask to dance!!" Kaylin says jokingly. "How about no! No one will ask me any way so save your money" I say while we watch Jamie suck on some other chicks face. "Whelp she gonna get it tonight!!" We all laugh.
While Katy and Kaylin are grinding on other guys, I'm stuck alone. I guess my friends were right. Someone came over and asked me to dance with him. I really didn't see his face, but his voice was angelic and smooth. "May I have this dance" he said cocky. "I don't know how to dance, sorry." "Well then I will have to drag you then would I?" In seconds he takes me to the middle of the dance floor.
'Finally I get to see his face' I thought. WOW! Perfect skin, cheek bones, dark chocolate eyes. Why would he want to dance with me? I'm hideous, while all the other girls are beautiful??
So I dance with him, and damn he can dance!
"Leah time to go!!" Jamie says pulling me out of the party. Before Jamie pulls me out of the door, he grabs my other arm "Wait! I need to know your name! I'm Dana" "I'm Leah see ya around??" I say as Jamie is tearing my arm off. "Sure thing babe" Dana says sexy. I got shivers when he said that. Weird? But hot!!
When we got to Katy's house we talked about everything. "I saw you dance Leah, WITH A GUY!!!! Who was it??" Kaylin say curiously. "Just this guy name Dana" I said normally. "DANA? Leah you better be careful!" Jamie says as she changes into pajamas. "Why? He seems nice." They look at each other worried for me. "Tell me what he is all about" I almost scream.
"Dude, he's like the bad boy of the whole senior class!! He hooks up with all the girls in and out of school and your too good for him." I looked shocked "I can be bad... Sometimes." "We just want to look out for you ok?" Katy says. "Fine, but you girls know I can take care of myself right?" "Yep!" They say in unison.
