Marinette bit her lip as she walked into school. Adrien sheeishly up smiled at her but she just looked away. Adrien sighed and walked into class after her with Nino. He sat in his seat and Nino sat in his. Class started. Neither of them spoke. They were put in a pair project again. They didn't do it. It was due at the end of class. They didn't do it. They had to do it during lunch. They did it separately. Ms.Bustier sighed and stopped them.
"Why won't you two work together?" They started talking at the same time and Ms.Bustier pinched the bridge of her nose. "One at a time, Marinette."
She sighed. "I can't trust him. He won't do anything useful." He glared at her.
"She doesn't trust me so I can't help." Adrien crossed his arms.
"Okay both of you have a problem with the other but you need to get over them and work together. If you don't then everything will fall apart." Ms.Bustier sighed and Adrien and Marinette still glared at each other.
"I'm never going to work with him." Marinette turned back to her project. Adrien growled and went to his. Ms.Bustier sighed and went to her desk. They turned in the projects and Alya and Nino sighed as they watched their friends not work together. They hated each other now.
Four Years Later
Akumas came went. They both graduated. They only worked on akumas together. They never saw each other in their normal lives anymore. Only at school but now that they're both adults, they don't see each other at all. Alya and Nino got an apartment together and Marinette got one by herself. Adrien still lives at home. Marinette sat at her desk and designed another outfit for Gabriel to deny.
"Marinette," she hummed. "You should ask Adrien to move in."
"W-What?" She faced the Kwami. "Are you insane!"
"Well you have an extra room you aren't using and Adrien knows. The least you two could do is live with each other."
"No. No way. I hate him!"
"Do you?"
She growled and glared at the Kwami with a smug look on her face. "Fine! I'll ask him!"
"Great! Do it at patrol tonight!"
"I can't," she looked at the time and gasped. "I have a date." She smiled and walked to her closet. She nearly forgot about it. She picked out a red dress that pointed out her curves. She pulled her hair into a bun.
"Since when do you have a date? And with who?"
"Since three days ago with Kim." She smiled. She started dating Kim when she was 17. She didn't know why. Deep down. She knew it was to get Adrien jealous. He lived with Alix and Max in another complex. Alya was a few doors down with Lila a few floors down. She hummed a song as she left her apartment and went to her car. She walked into the restaurant to find Kim already there. She smiled at him they were seated.
