Chapter 8

*Your POV*

I opened my eyes and find myself half covered in rocks. I heard a voice and looked around. Jack was standing up and coughing. He looked over at me and fear and shock filled his eyes and I looked away. Footsteps filled my ears and I turned to see him running over to me. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Helping you." He said and started to move the rocks one by one. "Just leave me Jack. After what I did. I don't deserve to live." I said. "What you did, it helped us." He said walking in front of me. I stared at him and he put both of his hands on both sides of my muzzle. I let out a soft purr and he slowly pet my muzzle. I smile before pulling back. I put both of my paws up and extended my claws into the ground. Jack backed up and I began to pull the lower half of my body out of the rubble. I tried for a while and fell to the ground. "Jack, there's no way I'm gonna get out." I said. "Come on you just have to tried harder." Jack said. "I can't Jack. You need to go. Go get Arcee and get out!" I said. "I'm not leaving you! Do it for Cybertron!" He said. I felt my ears lie flat and I sighed. I got ready again and started to pull once more. This time the rocks moved little and I felt my body slide. I moved my feet a little and then I shot forward. My hind paw shot with pain and I looked at it. It was twisted and smashed completely. "That doesn't look good." Jack said. "No nor does it feel good." I said. "Just take it easy. We will get out." Jack said. "No we need to keep going." I said. We stumbled around for a while and found a bunch the drills from earlier. "Yes!" I cheered and limped over to it. "Jack I need to you drive it." I said. "I don't know how to drive that!" He said. "It's simple!" I said. "Why can't you do it?" He said. "Paws." I said holding up a paw. He nodded and climbed up onto the controls and started to drive it. Soft banging got louder and louder as we went around in the cave. "Can you detect it?" Jack asked. "There." I said pointing to a wall of rubble. "Right on through!" I called and watched as he rammed right into it. A wall of dust came at us and I got off and jumped through as best as I could. The dust cleared and I saw Bulkhead, Miko, and Starscream lying on the ground. "Another one?" Bulkhead said. I looked up and saw him holding up the ceiling. "Miko go with Jack." I growled. "But-" She started. "Miko." Bulkhead said. "Miko, go. I'll make sure that Bulkhead gets out. If i don't I'll let you take out my own spark." I said. She nodded and ran over to Jack. "Get her out now!" I yelled to Jack and he nodded. I turned back to Starscream and he backed away. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be parting with Megatron and his little band of friends over my 'death'?" I growled limping towards him. "What?! Why should I do that?" He said nervously while backing away. "I'll let you live, if you tell Megatron that we were ambushed and I was captured by the Autobots." I said. "And what do I get out of it?" He asked. "When I 'escape' and come back I make sure not to tell him about trying to kill and abandon me during a mission. That will surely get you killed if he found out." I said. He narrowed his eyes and nodded. "Good. If you tell him something else I will personally tell him that you left me to die and I will rip out your spark painfully and slowly." I said and he nodded rapidly. I stood next to bulkhead and put my wings up. "Switch Bulkhead." I said and he put his arms down. The rock fell onto my back and wings and I held it up. "Go!" I hissed and Bulkhead raced to the hole. "Starscream go also!" I hissed and he quickly pushed past Bulkhead before running. "What about you?" He asked. "Go!" I hissed and slowly moved towards him. The ceiling was becoming heavier and heavier as I walked towards him. My injured hind paw was bleeding energon all over. Bulkhead came back and held it up near the hole. I quickly rushed over and went through as he dropped it. "Well, that worked surprisingly." I said. "Yeah, no kidding." He said. "Thanks, even after everything i've done to you." I said. "Eh, it's alright. Your torn between sides. Sure everyone might not trust you but they will. Thanks for helping me." He said. "No problem. Lets go before Miko thinks your dead." I said. He nodded and started walking through the cave.

"Bulkhead!" Miko cried and ran up to him. Jack looked at me and smiled weakly. I did also and looked at them. "What are you doing here?" Arcee asked. "Take me back to the Autobots." I said. "You want to come back?" She said shocked. "Much. I realized my mistake and I know where i belong." I said. "Fine, Ratchet open the ground bridge." Arcee said and a ground bridge opened. "Come on and let's get that foot of your's fixed up." Jack said. Bulkhead, Miko, Jack, and Arcee walked in first and I walked in after them. Familiar scents of the Autobot base filled my nose and I smiled. "Y/n?" Ratchet said in shock as I walked through. "The one and only." I said. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "I am quite interested in that as well." Optimus said. "Well it's quite a long story, that isn't good for this moment." I said. "And why is that?" Optimus asked. "Well you see. I'm kinda bleeding out." I said motioning to my twisted foot. "Come over here." Ratchet said. I followed him over to his small little infirmary and sat. "What did you do to your paw." Raf asked. "During the cave in. I started to run to avoid a huge rock that was coming towards me. During it I twisted my paw all the way around and after that everything went black. When I woke up i was half buried and my paw was crushed in the rocks. Jack saw me and helped me get out. I made a mistake of pulling myself out because It made it worse." I said looking at it. "Geez." Raf said. "Eh, I've been through worse." I said looking away. "Your face as otherwise." Arcee said. My ears flattened and I lied my head on my paws and looked away.
