Caro POV

I stormed out of the cafeteria, furious with Nicolas, why? He was seeing Natalie again, and lying to Alex AGAIN plus he had hit her! That’s abuse, it sounded like he was going to force her to have sex with him too! How unbelievable is that?! I mumbled to myself as I made my way to the front door to leave. I had to see someone it was very important.

"Caro Wait!" i heard someone yelled behind me.

I turned around and stopped, when i saw it was Emi.

"Are you ok?" she asked.

"I'm fine Em thanks"

" Are you sure you are?" she asked again.

I sighed "Em one of my best friends has had like no contact with the world since monday and its thursday! If it wasn't for Daniel i would think she was dead!” My voice cracked. “Plus Alex is pissed off at me and Matt is mad because of a rumor that ISNT TRUE!!!! Do you have any idea what it’s like?”

“Oh course Caro! Sammy is my friend too remember? Alex is just mad, give her some space and she will be back to normal in no time, as for Matt… if he loves you he will believe you when you say it isn’t true”

“Im sorry for snapping at you” I said sighing “ I didn’t mean to”

“Don’t worry about it I know your stressed”

“yeah… I have to go but I’ll see you tomorrow ok?”

She smiled “ok sure!”

“Thanks”

I walked away after saying bye and went to the park where we were supposed to meet. I sat down on a swing checking the time, 2:30. He was supposed to be here at 2:15… what if he left because I was late…?

Hey where are you? Im waiting, were still on right?”

I waited another five minutes without a response and was about to get up when I heard his voice behind me.

“WAIT! Caro!”

I turned around to see Luke coming towards me, finally, I thought I would wait all day.

“Sorry I took so long, I had to take care of something at home” he said.

“It’s ok, so should we sit down or something”

“Sure” we sat on the grass and Luke began talking.

“So what are we going to do?”

What were we going to do…? I had no idea. I sighed, “I’m not sure, you have any ideas?”

“Well Sammy hasn’t been answering the door, at her house… I went there a few times but either Daniel told me she was sick or nobody answered… I doubt she is sick by now, but I really just want to know she’s ok”

“Yeah same here, im just worried by now, maybe we should go today…. Or tomorrow since school was canceled. I need to talk to her” I said.

“Im thinking she needs her space though… she might just have needed this week as a break, im sure she will be fine on Monday right?” he said, I could tell even he didn’t believe that.

“Don’t lie to yourself Luke” I said.

“OK, maybe we should go, but tomorrow, I can’t today.”
