when he flirted back

{jackson pov}

"we should watch something or go do something" loren complained. "you're so vague oh my gosh" i replied. "well we could be here forev-" she stopped. we both shot up from our spots when we heard my phone buzz.

we looked away and i slowly and dramatically reached for my phone and made sure it wasn't on. "okay on the count of three" she said. "one" i counted nervously. "two" loren whispered. "th-" my phone lit up and there were two dms from aaron. she squealed into my ear but i didn't even flinch. "h-he" i stuttered in awe.
"i know. well you have to respond. or at least open them. but don't leave him on seen either. " loren rambled on. she was probably saying something useful. i should probably even be listening but adrenaline was rushing through me, or maybe it was just butterflies, and i was freaking out. i started pacing as i opened it and the messages were loading. loren and i looked at each other and i grinned so hard.
i was so happy. my anticipation grew even more and then the worst happened. my phone died. "oh shit no, no, no". i collapsed on the ground. i felt done for. i could feel my heart drop. i collapsed and just laid there on my back. being the drama queen i am i mumbled over and over about how my life was over.
"for gods sake jackson just use mine it's at 94%" said loren with a disapproving look. "thank you so much you are the light of my life, the apple of my eye, god bless you. now give me the phone" i said really fast and eagerly stole her phone. i typed in the password and logged into my instagram account. of course i went straights to my dms. i clicked on the one with aaron's user.

aaronxfuller: well obviously you've never looked in a mirror
aaronxfuller: that was me trying to flirt btw

i reply the first thing that pops into my head.

jackson_krecioch: well i think it's adorable and it's definitely working.

he saw it right when i sent it. as if he's been waiting for a response. wow. but to be totally honest i would've done the same thing. which is what i'm doing i stare at the screen and wait for a response.

{aaron pov}

"ya know the more i think about it the more adorable he is" i sighed to sophie. "why what'd you see now?" she sarcastically asked. "just everything about him" i grinned.
"this boy has got me feeling some type of way!" i say while fanning myself with my hand. i think about what to type and tone sophie out as she rants about some bitch at school. i start to type.

aaronxfuller: that's relieving. so how are you lmao

jackson_krecioch: i'm good now that i'm talking to you

aaronxfuller: well aren't you quite the flirt. that's cute

jackson_krecioch: well i gtg can i talk to you tomorrow??

aaronxfuller: yes pls do

jackson_krecioch: ok talk to you later bye :)

i let out a long sigh and held my phone to my chest. i hope i'm going to dream about jackson tonight. "wow, i think i might have a crush on jackson." i mumbled. "oh good you aren't oblivious of your own feelings" she snickered. i don't want this to move too fast. "good night" i said with a hint of bitch in my voice. i rolled on my side and drifted to sleep.

{jackson pov}

as i lay on my side i clicked loren's phone off and grinned to myself. i lent over and grabbed my charger to pull my phone off. "can i have my phone back now?" she rolled her eyes at me. i rolled over on my back and held my arm up for her to take it. "i'm leaving bye jack" loren said as she grabbed her purse. i wished her a nice flight and walked her to the door.

      i shut the door and pulled my phone out of my pocket to look back at the conversation i just had with aaron. i sighed. i held my phone at my side and walked back to my room and put it on my charger for the night. i crawled under the covers and shut my eyes and thought of aaron. i don't want this to move too quickly but i actually like him. i laid on my side and just went to sleep.
