Three days.

It had been three days since you walked in on Glenn and Maggie.

Three days of Glenn sleeping in the RV.  Three days of avoiding him.  Escaping his stares and pleading eyes around the camp fire.  You knew you couldn't avoid him forever, but damn were you determined to try.

Of course it wasn't just Glenn you needed to avoid.  Even after you saw them together that morning, the farmer's daughter was still trying to get closer to YOUR pizza boy.  Yes, you haven't talked to him at all, but that doesn't mean she needs to make things worse by trying to be near him all the time.

Ugh, Maggie.

Her name sent shivers down your spine.  It made bile want to form in your throat.  You needed to avoid both of them, for different reasons of course.  Glenn.....well you were afraid of what he would say to you.  You were afraid to face the music and learn what he had actually done with Maggie.  How far they had gone.  You wouldn't give in to your desire to run to him and act like everything was okay.  Just thinking about the whole situation was making you want to cry.

.........If you ran into Maggie right now you wouldn't hesitate to push her onto the ground and punch her lights out.  So yeah, better you didn't see either of the two.

Today was going to be just like any other day.  You'd wake up and leave your tent later than anyone else.  From there you'd help Daryl search for Sophia out in the woods, or help Rick and Shane with whatever they were doing.  Anything but tedious house work was okay with you.

Sighing you finally sit up from your pillow.  Lately your tent seemed smaller, lonelier.  Pushing the thought aside you fling your blanket off and start to put on your boots.  Taking a quick peek outside the tent flap you decide the coast is clear.

You emerge from your tent and see a large group of people walking off towards the wells.  You can make out Glenn in his baseball cap.  Maggie right by his side.  Thinking nothing more of it you decide to see how Carol is this morning.  You walk around aimlessly and find the woman sitting on a chair washing some laundry.

"Good morning."  You say smiling down at her.

"Morning Y/N."  She says slightly glancing up at you.

"How are you doing?"

Sighing Carol stops her movements and stares off into the distance.

"I've been better Y/N."  "But Daryl went out to look for my littler girl even earlier than normal this morning."  "I think he may find her today, somehow."

"Now Y/N how are YOU doing?"

"Good, couldn't be better."  Your response void of all emotion.

"You know you're going to have to talk to him eventually right?"

Having had enough of this conversation you stand and turn, ready to leave.

"Yes, I know."  "I......I just can't yet, alright."  You say over your shoulder.

"Well, in case you were wondering they found a walker in one of the wells.........I think they were going to try and get it out."

"I know they mentioned something about might needing to use 'live bait'."

That caught your attention.

"Are you saying that they're going to send someone down the well?"  "In reach of a walker?"  You couldn't believe what you were hearing.

"That might happen."  "If you're curious at all why don't you go see for yourself?"

She smirks.
