Chapter Twenty-Two
Sammy
I looked through the file that sat in my lap for what must have been the millionth time. I sighed as I realized there wasn't anything in there that I didn't already know. All it said was that I kept bringing up the topic of my father killing Sebastian. I put the file on the coffee table and went into the kitchen.
I grabbed the glass I used earlier and filled it with water again before taking a drink. Suddenly everything went blurry and the ground got closer to my face.
*Vision*
I couldn't move. I seemed to be standing in a park from what I could see. I couldn't even move my head to see anything else.
Suddenly a figure ran into the park. He seemed to be covered in blood. He crouched to the ground next to the slide and started to dig a hole. Once he decided the hole was big enough he seemed to place something in it.
Suddenly everything zoomed in and I realized what was happening. The man was my father, and the thing he was burying was the knife he killed Sebastian with. But this made no sense. I didn't see this, so how was I seeing it now.
I thought as I watched my father finish burying the knife. Once it was finally in the ground everything went black.
*End of Vision*
I slowly opened my eyes as a headache pounded my brain again. I saw glass around me and realized that I had fallen and the glass in my hand had broken. I slowly pushed myself up into a sitting position before I was hit with a wave of confusion. The broken glass was all around me, as if it radiated from me.

"Why did I choose to come back here?" I asked Kim as we walked down the hallway to lunch as people stared at us.
"Hey, this is your first day of this shit. I've been dealing with it ever since that thing with Lizzie happened. People treat me different now." Kim said.
"Good different or bad different?" I asked as we walked through the cafeteria doors.
"Honestly, a little of both." She replied.
We grabbed our food and sat at the same table we usually sit at. Adam sat next to us a few minutes later.
"Okay, what's going on? Literally everyone is looking at you two." Adam said.
I turned to look at the rest of the cafeteria to find that Adam wasn't kidding. There weren't any eyes in the room that weren't on Kim or I.
"Um.. sorry if I'm invading your privacy or something but I just wanted to tell you two that I'm sorry about your friends." I heard someone say from next to us. I looked over to see a boy who looked to be a few years younger than us standing there with a look of sympathy on his face.
"You're the first person who's said that ever since.. it, happened. What's your name?" Kim asked him.
"Um.. Shane." He said with a small smile.
"Well Shane, thanks for saying that." I said, smiling back. Shane nodded before he walked away.
"How is it that in a school with this many people, only he is decent enough to be nice?" Adam asked.
Kim shrugged. "I'm not complaining. Almost everyone is afraid of me now." Kim said.
"Ya, we all know how much you like to be feared." Adam said making Kim laugh and smile.
After we all finished our food and sat through he rest of our boring classes, people still staring, it was time to go home. I walked out the front doors and started walking towards Sammy's car. I turned my head when I heard some people yelling. I started to walk towards the noise.
"Leave me alone!" I heard Kim's voice scream. I started running faster and stopped when I turned the corner.
"Oh, is the crazy birch gonna cry?" Trisha, the girl who used to be third in command on the cheerleading squad, said. The rest of the cheerleading squad seemed to be surrounding Kim. "This is what you get for shooting your own bestfriend."
"What the fuck are you doing?" I yelled at Trisha, running through all of the girls and helping Kim up off the ground.
"Oh look, the faggot's here. Tell me, why did Lizzie try to kill you?" Trisha asked. I just ignored them and pushed past them all and kept walking until we were in the parking lot.
"Are you okay?" I asked Kim.
"Ya I guess. This is the bad side of people treating me different." She said.
"They're just being britches." I told her.
"Thanks, I have to go, bye." Kim said before she walked away to her car. I walked over to Sammy's car and got in before heading home myself.

"You know, we haven't ever actually been on a date." Sammy said as we sat on the couch.
"Well, let's change that. How about on Saturday. Today is Wednesday so I'll have two days to get it ready. That sounds like enough time." I replied.
"Ya, but you're not the one who's going to plan it. I'll plan it. I already have about a million ideas." Sammy said with a smile.
"Aww, but I want to plan put first date." I whined.
"Too bad, I am." Sammy replied.
"You're a mean boyfriend." I pouted as I snuggled my head into his chest and he wrapped his arms around me.
"I love you though." He said, kissing me forehead.
"I love you too." I said, moving my head and kissing his lips.
"Fuck you two are cute." I heard Lucy say.
"Where the hell did you come from?" Sammy asked as we both looked over to see her sitting at the other end of the couch.
"I've been here the whole time. You two were just too busy making googly eyes at each other to notice me." She said with a smile.
"Shut up." I said, feeling a blush start to cover my face.
