Invisible Scars

There are scars that you can see ,
And also scars that you can not.
I have the scars that you can not see.
These scars are inflected within my mind,
As well within my soul.
To me,
They are deeper than any open wound.
Like any other scar,
There is a story behind each one.
Sadly these stories cannot be told.
They are not like the scars you can see.
The scars that are visible can eventually be heard,
However, for the ones that are not,
Can never be release from the shadows.
Those are the scars I endure.
The scars that I have,
Are stories that can never be told.
