Chapter 36

Same Day

Jordan's POV

Bethan turned out to be livestreaming so I ended up playing the whole time with Taren. By this time it was about Taren's dinner time too. Luckily Bethan finished livestreaming and we all ate together. Taren didn't have a high chair so she sat in Bethan's lap and Betgan would give her soup and ate then Bethan eats some. "Did Cece say that she can talk?" I ask breaking the silence.

"She said they've been trying but nothing so far." Bethan says patting Taren's back. "Are you full?" Bethan said before giving Taren a spoonful of food, she was right Taren was full. I decided to take Taren and made her sit on my lap so Bethan can eat, she was almost done anyway. "Do you know how to burp kids?" Of course i didn't so i just shook my head. "You face her towards her and pat her back gently. Your hands is the same size as her back so be careful OK?" I do as she says and soon enough Taren burps which was cute. It sounded more like hiccups to me. "Well her mom said that after giving her a rest after dinner she has shower time. So I'm gonna get her toys and the shampoo stuff so can you take her to the bathroom and get the water ready?"

"Sure. Bath time Taren!" Taren starts clapping her hands and hugs my face. I set her down on the bathroom floor and run the water. I learned that you use your wrist to check the water's temperature. I check bacl at Taren and she is just nodding so i nod as well. She suddenly hits her head. She started making the pouty face and i just started going, "Shh" to calm her down instead she just laughs and kept nodding. "You are such a strong girl!" I said brushing her hair with my fingers. For a 8 month old she had a lot of hair.

"I'm back!" Bethan says with a bag of toys in one hand and shampoo, conditioner, baby oil, poder and lotion in the other. On her left arm she has Taren's towell that was pink and had cupcakes all over it. Taren raises her arms and opens and closes her hands so that Bethan would pick her up. Bethan lays the material down and get Taren. "Are you gonna stay and watch?"

"Maybe if you're ok with it."

"No I'm just worried that you might be scared. I might get my vlogging camera and introduce Taren once she's clean." Bethan takes off Taren's light blue top and she shivers at the cold air, "Oh i know honey I know." Bethan says holding Taren close to her. "Grab her sock for me." As I took one sock off Taren has a fit of giggles. "Oh! Where'd your sock go?" I start tickling Taren's feet and she squirms even more in Bethan's lap, "Does Jordan have your feet?! Ok pants off Taren."

"Oh no.." I shade my eyes then I hear Taren being put in the water.

"Lucky for you Taren Auntie Bethan has bubble bath stuff!" Bethan pours some of the bubble bath in the water and starts stirring and withing seconds a mountain of bubbles formed but not enough so we lose sight of Taren. I put some rubber ducks inside and Taren grabs one and water shot out of its beak. Taren kept squirting us with the water luckily Bethan starts washing her hair and Taren instantly stopped. After the bath I was able to pick Taren's night clothes and I got her this purple and white striped onesie. When i came back to the bathroom Bethan just finished putting lotion on Taren and a diaper. I dress Taren in her onesie but I failed because I put I backwards. While Beyhan cleaned the bathroom up I go grab Taren and place her on our bed. I was afriad she would roll off but instead she just sat there and looked around our room and place her head on the pillows.

When I check back at Bethan she was already done cleaning, "You clean so fast!"

Bethan brushes her hands together and gave me a proud look, "I know right? Where's Taren?"

"On our bed."

"She might fall!" Bethan puts down the shampoos and I follow her back. "Taren?" We open the door and Taren was fast asleep in the middle of our bed. "Oh look at her. I don't wanna move her. She can sleep there right?"

"Yeah! I'm fine with it. I don't wanna move her either. Well I'm taking a shower."I say ruffling my hair.

"I call next!" Before heading to the bathroom. I grab our pillows and place them around Taren just in case.

Time Skippies

Bethan finally finishes showering and I just stayed in bed next to the sleeping Taren. "She's so cute." I said pointing at her cheeks.

"Shhh your voice is loud." Bethan said whispering and sure enought it was and Taren suddenly woke up. "Hi honey go back to sleep."

Taren had her hands out for Bethan and as she starts opening and closing her hands she whines, "Mama." Bethan's eyes grew wide and ran to Taren hugging her close.

"Goodjob honey! Jordan she just called me 'Mama'." Bethan was freaking out and I patted Taren's head.

"Goodjob Taren."

"Dada." Taren says pointing at me.

"Bethan call Cece now." I was freaking out too. I take Taren and hug her and start kissing her head. "Oh my goodness! You are such a chit-chatter! You have to sleep now though okay?" Taren nods and comes into my arms. I rock her back to sleep as Bethan sings the music box song. Within minutes Taren was back to sleep. I gave Bethan her goodnight kiss and we take the pillows that was around Taren and we fell asleep facing Taren and looking at eachother.

"I feel so bad that we're not the real ones." Bethan says.

"I know. Don't worry. We'll have our own later on ok?"

"Where's my ring?" She said wiggling her left ring finger. "Good night. Love you. Oh by the way you're gonna be the best dad."

"Love you too and you will be the best mom. Good night babe."

"I can't wait to be a parent." we said in unison and slowly fell asleep.
