The Beginning

(Luna pov)

I sat on the peaceful farm that was secluded from the rest of the world, surrounded by people I barely knew. The only person I really know is my best friend voi (short for violet) we've known each other for so long and we were really happy until the world suddenly fell into chaos. We are so lucky to be alive right now though our families aren't. Our story is very complicated, when it all started it was broadcast on t.v they showed the horrifying and awful proof of what they were saying. A horrible virus was let out changing people into things we call walkers and when a walker bit or scratched you, you would turn into one of them as well. Most people fought for food and things that help our basic needs and then they fled. For us (me and you)from Atlanta we did the Same the highway was full of people and we all witnessed horrible things we saw our city blown up in front of our own eyes days after that we went back to find our families and found out they were dead and worst of all they were walkers. We then scavenged building after building rarely finding anything useful. Eventually we passed a hospital and were very surprised to find someone actually alive, we then found out his name was Rick and found 2 other people named Morgan and Duane they helped us a lot but Rick was determined to find his wife and son. We met up with another group in the city they told us they had more people outside Atlanta so we went with them and together we escaped a huge crowd of walkers. When we met the rest of the group we found out that Rick's family was with them. His son was the same age as Voi and me. We had to leave our campsite after being attacked and seeked out shelter through this time we had lost more people and found ourselves out on a highway. This was where Sofia ran out into the forest we couldn't find her after that and sent out search parties, my party consisted of me,Voi,Carl,Rick and Shane. Carl was soon after shot by someone named Otis he told us he lived on a farm and to take him there. We all desperately carried him over to the farm yelling for Hershel we met Maggie who took us to Hershel and we explained What happened as Hershel tried to save him. At this time I was very worried and felt sick because I had grown close to Carl. Shane left to bring the rest of our group back meanwhile me and Rick donated our blood to Carl to keep him alive, Lori and the rest of the group arrived. Hershel then told us he needed to take the bullet out of Carl and for the next several hours me,Rick and Lori were waiting outside the room listening to Carl's screams while Voi tried to comfort me. A day later Carl was still unconscious and that brings me to where we were now. I was waiting outside while T-dog got his arm fixed. I didn't know what to do because Voi was off somewhere with Glenn and we still haven't found Sofia. I didn't want to leave just In case Carl woke up but I needed to get my mind of things so I went to find Daryl.

(Voi pov)

The world hasn't been exactly great lately, the only thing encouraging me to stay alive is Luna and Glenn. I've taken a liking to Glenn but I'm not sure if he likes me that's much. Although Glenn did ask me to meet him at the fence gate in 5mins so I Decided to go but before I did I told Luna where I was going so she wouldn't worry. I strolled over to the gate to find a very worried Glenn." Hey what's up?"I greeted him, he looked very relieved that I came and burst out into a jumble of words I couldn't understand. Cut him off completely and said " um could you please slow down I didn't understand anything you just said" he looked at me and repeated what he said " well I wasn't sure if I could trust this place so I went to look around and saw that the barn doors were locked several times so I decided to find a way in and I found what they were hiding... The barns full of walkers". I was so confused at what Glenn just told me "are you sure" was the only words I could summon " yeah I'm sure you almost the only one I can trust now" he replied. "Have you told anyone else?" I questioned "well... I can't keep my mouth shut so I told Dale and you that's it" "okay let's keep it that way and hope Dale keeps his mouth shut to" I said "ok, I was also wondering if you wanted go on a little supply run but since we're only 16 we have to ask Rick"

"Sure sounds fun let's go ask" I replied. Me and Glenn walked over to Rick who was sitting with Lori waiting for Carl to wake up, Glenn spoke up first " we were wondering if we could go on a supply run and possibly take 2 of Hershel's horses?" Rick looked up at us and thought for a moment "are you sure you guys are up to it?" I responded with " of course we can take care of ourselves and we can look out for each other's backs we've survived on our own for a while before we met you I think we'll be fine" I gave Glenn a hopeful look "ok you guys can go but we need a map and mark where your going and ask Hershel to borrow his horses first" "ok thanks Rick" Glenn said.

Then we walked over to Hershel's and knocked on the door, Hershel open it and said "hello" Glenn then politely explained we were going on a supply run and wanted to borrow the horses. Hershel told we could and Maggie was already in there and she could help us get them ready. We helped Maggie get them ready and walked them out of the barn, we quickly gave Rick the map and told him we were leaving he also explained that Luna left with Daryl to go find Sofia. On our way out the gate Lori stopped us and asked us to get something for her and not mention it to anyone, she asked us to get her a pregnancy test. We left the farm at slow pace but when we got to the pharmacy there were no walkers so we gathered our supplies and as we were about to leave I forgot something so I went back in and grabbed it off the shelf. I was extremely surprised to see a walker on the other side it noticed I was there and tried to reach me through the shelf I reached for my knife but as I did it pushed the shelf onto me slicing right through my arm that was reaching for my knife it dropped on the floor Behind me as I gasped in pain, blood was pouring down my arm. I was also being squashed by the shelf and to make it worse the walker feel on top of it still trying to get to me. Glenn was just outside the store "Glennnnnn" I called his name desperately hoping he could hear me. I heard the bell on the door jingle slightly and the shuffle of his footsteps, I was really panicking all I could hear was the walker snarling in my ear. Glenn came into sight with his knife ready, he took in the situation and sprung into action he pulled the walker off and stabbed his knife into its head a puddle of blood oozing out of its head. He pulled the heavy shelf off me and instantly pulled me up and into his arms. It was really comfortable in his arms I just put my head on his shoulder as he held me.
