I let out a squeal as I slip out of the bed and crash onto the floor. I had been trying to get Andy awake to help me get down, but he didn't budge. I let out a shaky breath as I lay there on my back. "Ow"

The whole bus was silent for a while as I laid there on the hard floor. I was in too much pain to move. My arm throbbed and now my back did too. Then there was the sound of someone shuffling around in their bunk. "Hannah? What's going on?"

I sucked in a breath as I heard Andy's tired, raspy voice.

"N-nothing. Go back to bed."

He slowly climbed out of bed. "What did you do this time?" It was dark, but I could still make out his tall figure. He rubbed at his eyes and then looked down at me, a sigh leaving his lips. "Gosh. don't tell me you broke something else."

"Shut. Up." I said. He was really starting to annoy me, but then again it was nothing new. He walked over and helped me up. There were no more remarks from him, but instead he had a slightly guilty look on his face. "You should have just woken me up instead of trying to do this on your own. Where were you going anyway?"

My cheeks turned slightly pink. I was thankful for the dark room so Andy wouldn't have another reason to make fun of me. "I needed to go to the bathroom"

"So...why didn't you just wake me up?"

"I don't know... I mean I'd hate to bother you."

"Oh shut up. That's a load of crap. We both know I'm stuck taking care of you so just tell me when you need something." He snapped.

I furrow my eyebrows and shake my head before pushing him away, walking to the bathroom. I shut the door, locking it so there would be a barrier between the two of us. "Just leave me alone, Andy" Tears welled up in my eyes as did what all i needed to do...

Instead of opening the door and facing Andy, I slid down the door with my back against it. A stray tear slipped down my cheek and I let out a quiet cry. Andy's so cruel, he'll say anything he wants to without worrying about the outcome. But why was I crying over it? I hate him, so why was he getting to me?

I heard a slight thump come from the other side of the door. "Hannah?"

"Go away."

"What's wrong now?"

"Nothing. I said go away, Andy" I mumble as I try to stop crying.

He was silent for a moment. "Whatever." Then nothing else came. I could hear him climb back into bed. Did he really just go to sleep again? Tsk.. so much for helping me back in bed.

After a while, I stood up and opened the door to go back to bed. A gasp left my lips as I saw Andy still sitting in front of the door. I furrow my eyebrows at him. "I thought you went back to bed..."

"No"

"Oh"

He stood up, giving me a soft smile. "Let's get you back in bed. Okay?"

"Okay."

He helped me up to my bunk and stared at me for a second. His lips parted like he had something to say but he never said anything. He shook his head before retreating to his own bunk.

I lay down, staring up. I could have sworn he left and went to bed...but he didn't. He waited for me..

Maybe he isn't so bad...
