I walked out the door with my arm linked through Charli’s and Johnette’s. Everyone else was already waiting outside except for Tyler. Of course, he’s obviously not going to show because his stupid girlfriend is now controlling every move he makes.
“Is Tyler going to be a no show?” Zane said slightly aggravated with Tyler’s previous episodes of ditching the group.
“Yuup.” Autumn said before I could respond.
I was about to add something, when Zane’s mom pulled up to drive us to the mall. We all climbed in and shut the doors behind ourselves. Zane was in the passenger seat. With Charli and myself in the middle and Autumn and Johnette in the back. The ride to the mall felt like it took a lifetime to get there, but it was only about twenty minutes or so.
We all walked in as a big cluster. The first thing we saw when we got in there was a Jump Zone. Immediately, we all raced towards it. We didn’t even make I halfway there when I heard a very familiar voice calling out to us.
“Hey guys!”
Tyler? It couldn’t be. He had stood us all up, but showed up at the mall anyways. I carefully spun on my heels toward the voice. Everyone else had pretty much started over towards him and Emily? He brought her! You’ve got to be kidding me.
I started to walk over to them, when my pace started to quicken. It felt as if I couldn’t control myself anymore. I made it over to everyone else in no time. I stood cross armed glaring at Tyler with so much hatred. I’ve never been so disgusted by someone in my entire life.
“You know, if you were going to ditch all of us, you should have gone somewhere we wouldn’t have found you too.” I said, not even realizing what I had just told him.
“You know, if you weren’t so blonde, you may have realized Tyler didn’t like you from the beginning.” Emily spat.
“That makes no sense. You’re blonde too!” Zane said getting himself involved. After that everyone was spewing nasty comments towards one another. Next thing I knew Emily said something that really ticked Charli off and she was on the floor. Charli had punched her. She did something I only dreamed about and I had just met Emily this morning.
“What’d you do that for?!” I could hear Tyler screaming to Charli.
“Tyler! Zip it! If she hadn’t of done it, I probably would have!” I answered before Charli had the chance to.
Tyler stared at me. I couldn’t tell if his eyes were filled with hate or sadness. Possibly a little bit of both. I glanced down and saw Emily getting back up. Tyler grabbed her hand and helped pull her up. She brushed her clothes off and stormed away.
“I-I have to go.” Tyler said as he walked off after her with his head hung towards the ground.
“I think we should go now.” Johnette said to Zane. He nodded and called his mom to come pick us up while we all walked outside to wait.
When Autumn and I got home, we went straight to our rooms. I pulled out my cell phone and dialed Charli’s number. She picked up right away so, I didn’t have to get irritated waiting for her to answer.
“Hello?” She said.
“Charli?”
“Yeah. What’s up?”
“I can’t believe what you did today. I can’t believe you actually punched Emily!” I said kind of shocked and kind of excited at the same time.
“Me neither. It just kind of happened. She said something and I threw a punch back.”
“I so would have loved to have done that. Haha.” I said beginning to laugh.
“Well, it did amuse me very much.” She said starting to laugh as well. “I have to go eat dinner. I’ll see you later this weekend or on Monday. Bye”
“Yeah maybe me, you, and Autumn can all hang out this weekend or something. Byebyes!” I hung up the phone and began to think over what happened at the mall.
The first day. The first day we had met her, and already Charli had fought her. Of course it wasn’t too much of a fight because she was on the ground in one hit. Great girlfriend you’ve got Tyler. Tyler? How was he already dating this girl if today was her first day of school here? Maybe they were old friends? But, we kissed? What about us? Doesn’t he care?
It almost saddens me to think he doesn’t care about me or us. I was happy when we had kissed and I thought he was too. Then why would he want her? Why would they be dating, if he had kissed me just days before?
At least Autumn’s happy. I think she’s really starting to like Zane. They hang out a lot and I think he likes her too. I think they’re really cute together too. I’m happy for them. I just wish I could be happy like that too.
