Juvia's POV
I ran out of my huge house in the rain, and entered the bright yellow taxi. I slumped my shoulder bag on the leathery seat next to me, and slid in to the old and rusty taxi. I sat there, panting because of the rush I was in.
"Don't make me wait again." The bearded taxi driver spoke. He was wearing a worn leather jacked and ripped jeans, as well as a torn baseball cap of the local junior league. I noticed him look at me, as if expecting a respond.
I nodded, and his eyes fixed on the road. The beaten up car sputtered, but began to drive. It wobbled, and bounced around. My bag was practically airborne. I slid the seat belt on around my chest, and grabbed my bag, holding it in my lap. I didn't want my things to spill all over his taxi, or he may get angry. I really don't want another person hating me.
The man didn't ask me where we were going, because he knew me. This man has driven me to school every day since freshman year. He wan't necessarily fond of me, but he didn't hate my guts like most people. Our drives were almost always silent, not a word comes out of his mouth until he asks for a tip at the end of the drive. But yet again, the ride was never to long. It was only about five minutes. He never dropped me off at the school entrance, he dropped me off around the corner, as to not cause me embarrassment. This was never my idea, he always let me walk in, which I appreciated. I don't think I needed even more drama. But, maybe I do need more drama, if it's meant to happen it will happen. Guess that means my life is destined to be trash.
"Tip." He spoke, which made me realize I was already at the corner of the street. I picked up my bag, grabbed a $10 bill, and hopped out of the taxi.
"Thankyou Sir." I said, bowing to show respect. He nodded, and started his old car, and I watched as it wobbled all the way down the road, and out of sight. Time to enter hell again.
I hate school. Mostly because of the people there. Everyone hates me, apart from my best friend Lisanna. I was made fun of constantly, ridiculed for my appearance at the school, and most of all I was a punching bag because I never fought back. Whenever someone hurt me, I just remained silent, and walked away. But this doesn't always work. Sometimes they expect an answer, and shove me for one. I never say anything, and end up being scoffed at. When Lisanna is around, she defends me. I always tell her just let it happen, but she never listens. She is pretty well known as the nice girl in the class that is a 'Jesus Freak'. She doesn't curse, she always forgives you, and she doesn't even offend people when she is defending me. She just says,
"That's impolite!"
Or
"Stop hurting a fellow classmate!"
She's too innocent to be honest. But when she protects me, she gets picked on. Which is why I get mad and dislike these people. They don't have to pick on Lisanna, just because she is my best friend. I try my best to get Lisanna out of those situations, but I am always silenced by the wrath of the bully.I stopped my thoughts before I entered school. I did this because Lisanna always knows what I am thinking. She can read me like a children's book. It's kind of annoying at times.
I started walking up to the school gates, passing the droopy cherry blossom trees, the muddy stone path, and what I loved most the beautiful field. But as soon as I entered through the gates, I began dreading the lame comments already being shot at me.
"Here comes water bottle!"
"Ugh! The rain again? It's ruining the soccer field. Get that girl out already."
"Rain Girl! Go away! Come again a never day!"
Seriously. That was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. They couldn't come up with anything better than Rain girl go away? Now that's sad.
