I stand outside her house. On the porch with a single rose in my hand. A blue rose.

I shook my hands. I can do this. I ring the doorbell. And take a step back and wait. I hear footsteps and the creek of the door as it opens. And she took my breath away.

A blue dress. Her hair in a fancy updo. Her lips lusciously pink. I blinked, mesmerised by her beauty.

I took a step towards her, with newfound confidence. I broke the stem of the rose and inserted the flower behind her ear in her hair.

"There. Perfect", I breathed. She looked at me from under her lashes. And blinked at me. We stood like that for 10 long seconds. A voice cleared it's throat. I looked up in alarm as she turned.
Her mother.
I'm assuming.

"Thum ghar jaldi anna tik hai? ", she said, her voice raspy.

Tris nodded and pulled me away from her house. "Aren't you going to introduce me"?

She shook her head as she slowed . She smiled, "No. Not today".

"Do you want to walk or take a cab"? I asked her. She glanced at her feet, "Let's walk". I nodded my head with a hint if smile on my face.

She looked at me with a question in her mind and smiled. And all I could think of was her reaction if she found out where I was taking her. I was whipped.

"Where are we going ?"

"You'll see. Wouldn't it be a shame if I told you the surprise ?" I winked at her.

It was a long walk but I was too mesmerized to care.
Gosh I'm drunk on her.

"Okay close your eyes"

"Seriously Zac? I'm wearing a dress I don't want to fall down."

The only one falling here is me.
For you.

"I'll hold you don't worry."

I covered her eyes with my hands and her eyelashes were ticklish. When we reached the centre, I let her go. I hope she'll like it.

"Oh my gosh Zac. This is beautiful."
Her eyes lit up like the thousands of stars above her. But I don't think those thousands would ever match her angelic eyes.

"Zac you didn't have to. This is just too much I'm speechless."

"Speechless is a good thing right ?"

"A very good thing. You surely do know how to make a girl's first date memorable."

First date? What?
Now we have two inexperienced 17 year olds on a date.
How can such a beautiful girl not go out on a date before?
I feel great now.
I get her for the first time.
Not Bob , not Rob or anyone.
No one but me.
Zac.

"My mom's friend works in this planetarium. I pulled a few strings and she was rather enthusiastic that I'm  going on my first date."

"Wow. I just never felt this... this wanted before. Thank you."

You do not know how much I want you.

"Well it's fortunate for me though. Now come on I can't wait to show you the rest." I say with a smile.
