"My life is so unfair! Ugh!" Cameron continues complaining as he takes the cigarette packet out of his pocket in front of my mother and father. I nearly gasp in surprise.

"Hey, where did you get that cigarette from?" my father asks as Cameron runs out of the house without answering.

I go to my room, trying to think of a way to find Cameron. "Hmm," I say as I spin on my study chair. I bet Cameron will be at that park where the toilet walls are covered with graffiti. I go outside and jump on my skateboard. I start to skate to the park, the wind blowing my face the whole way.

AFTER 10 MINUTES:

I find Cameron sitting on some stairs smoking.

"Cameron, you have to come home with me," I say.

"No Ali, I belong here! Who asked you to find me, anyway? Dumbass!"

I look him in the eye disappointedly. Seeing his pale face, he looks mentally sick.

"Well, Mum and Dad told me to get you to come home so we can talk this through all together as a family," I say to Cameron. He pays me little attention as he pulls another cigarette out of his pocket.

"Hmm, well I do need a favor... Can you steal the cash from that bank down the street this evening? If you do, then I will come back home with you," says Cameron. He is trying to trick me.

My heart skipped a beat when he said that he wants me to steal cash from the bank.
"Cameron, I don't want my life to be ruined like yours! I am not messing with your crap," I say to him with finality heavy in my voice as he lights up his second cigarette.

"Wait, did you just say yes?" Cameron says happily. This is the first time I have seen him smile. He grabs and pulls my arm to the bush near the playground.

"Ali, let's go to my friend's house and I will sort it out. The money from the bank will be all ours!" Says Cameron.

"No, I don't want to steal anything from these innocent people! The money will end up back in the bank and you will be in prison. I bet Mum and Dad won't bail, either," I say to Cameron as he throws his cigarette to the ground and stomps it once with his left foot.

"You're coming with me, and that's final," says Cameron leaving no room for negotiation. He snatches my skateboard from me and throws it on the grass. He then proceeds to grab my weak left hand tightly, walking us to his friend's house.

After 10 minutes of nudging and pulling, we get to the fellow's house. When Cameron's friend opens the door, I peek inside. I am not surprised to find strippers in the lounge room.

"Man, what took you so long?" Cameron's friend asks as he pats him on the back.

"Well, I found the right kid for the right job," says Cameron as he looks at me.

"Hey, I'm Alex! What's your name?" asks Cameron's friend. I look him over roughly, I do not want to do this!
