Poppy's POV
It's been a week since the birth of Violet, who is now sleeping peacefully in her crib. She awoke a few minutes ago, and her eye Colour was beautiful. It was a dark blue, just like her Father. My dad and the Snack Pack, along with Twig of course, are all coming to the pod, obviously to see the baby. Again. Not that I'm complaining of course, I love having my friends and family come over. Branch has been a little bit crazy over the past week, fussing over the baby and once she cries, he immediately goes into Superman mode and does everything to calm her down. I'm grateful for his actions, but I fear that he's over stressing himself again. And he's doing that right now, playing "perfectionist", baby proofing the whole of Violet's playroom. 'Branch. Branch. BRANCH!' I exclaimed, and finally got his attention. I gave him a look, and he sighed in defeat immediately. 'I...It's just that...I really couldn't help it Poppy. This is a habit Poppy, an overprotective habit. I'm still not fully into the care-free way of the trolls yet, and it's really hard to change a habit I had for 20 years Poppy.' He frowned. I felt sympathetic for him, and gave him a big bear hug. 'Branch, we all should be protective, but not too much or too often. Sometimes...you just need to let it all go ya know?' I gave him a playful wink, and slightly nudged him. Even the baby responded, as she awoke from her nap and "baby-talked" out a reply. Branch looked in awe at Violet, and took a deep breath. 'Yeah. You're right Poppy. Everything's perfect for now.' He said, and gave me a peck on the cheek. I giggled, and knew he would understand. 'Ding Dong!' Came the innocent ring of the doorbell. I grinned, and rushed outside to open the door! 'Hey guys! Come on in!' I greeted with a big happy smile, and gestured for them to come in. They did, and sat themselves on huge colourful beanbags and couches. Branch carried out the baby, and my Father rushed over to her. 'Oh look at her...such a adorable little thing. Come to grandpa...' He cooed. The baby reached her arms out in response, and dad carried her in his arms. 'Look here, age 50 and I already have a granddaughter!' He chuckled. It was kind of weird, giving birth at such a young age. I'm only 22 and Branch is 25. Never mind anyways. Who cares!? The younger the better Am I right? (Well, not like ridiculous ages such as 17 or 19 of course. You need to get help if you get pregnant at that age. No offence to teen moms.) Life is perfect.God the babies thing was adorable. I think you guys can see where all this is going, with Twig and Violet. So yeh. See you (hopefully) this weekdays! (Or weekends if I'm so unlucky.)
