IN MY LONG ARMS
you have immunity
from the world outside
in my long arms
an eternity
to be inside
whose chaos calms
the uncertainty
of massed divide
and rule's fake charms
surrounding each maverick's tree
so fates collide
amongst oasis palms.
love is our impunity
side by side
in smokey-spoken lips balms
the revolution rises rapidly
as it's oppressed tide
takes up arms.
