[26] Creek Is Stupid

Hi there! I know you're all probably just like:
STOP MAKING ALL THESE STUPID AUTHOR'S NOTES WE JUST WANT THR STORY!!
Lol. I'm sorry, I just would rather be doing this than be dedicating an entire chapter to just an author's note.
Anyway, time for the story. :)

"Branch," Poppy said. "Are you okay?"

He shook his head. "No. I hate Creek. He's so stupid. Now we're locked in here, forever, and no one's even looking for us."

"Branch," she said, and wrapped her arms around me. "They are looking for us. Remember, when we were looking for them when they were taken by the Bergens? Well, it took us a while, but we were looking, and we found them. It just might take a while."

"Sure, but how much longer is life going to offer us? I mean, I'm starving."

"I think my dad has snacks."

"Okay." Branch started to get up.

Poppy stopped him. "Wait."

"What?"

"You're gray."

He nodded and looked at himself. "I know."

Poppy wrapped her arms around him again, and kissed him. They fell over, and Poppy opened her eyes for one quick second.

He was blue again.

But that didn't stop the kiss. Branch didn't seem to notice that his colors were coming back, but Poppy didn't want to ruin the movement.

Branch put his arms around her waist, wiggling his fingers, making her roll all over the floor, and he didn't let her go.

Branch is back.
